Prime Italian calificaciones y reseñas
I've been going to this place for years and this was by far the worst dining experience I had. The chicken was rubbery, the service was horrendous, the waiter was so rude and overall did not meet our expectations for a Prime establishment. The only decent thing on the menu was the meatball and separately the lasagna.
This was my 8th time eating at Prime Italian and by far my worst experience. We waiting over an hour after our reservation time to be seated. The hostess was rude. Our server was good but had too many tables and was slow to get back to us after our meal was finished. The veal parmesan, my go to favorite at Prime Italian, was overcooked and soggy. My wife's food was good but not overly exciting. I think it's time for us to find a new favorite italian restaurant in South Beach
Huge portions but oily and non tasting. Fries are not crispy and garlic bread is like a sponge full of oil. I suggest to avoid this nuisance. Nowhere near a good price to value proposition. Unfriendly and unattenitive staff complete the picture. Terrible!
Our waiter was very bad. Antonio P. He didn't say his name when he came to the table. He asked my husband and I what we wanted to drink but never asked the kids. When he came back the third time twenty minutes later, I told him my kids would like a drink. Once we ordered the drinks we got appetizers and still no drinks. Twenty minutes later I asked him if could we please get my kids their drinks. He was serving the table next to us and he on several occasions went to their table turned his back to us and not once tuned around to ask if we needed anything. The guest at that table ordered drinks and in five minutes he brought their drinks to them. He was by far the worst we have had. I would hate to think it was because we are African American but last time I checked my money is the same color The food is always great and for that we will return provided Antonio is not our server And yes I did leave a tip but it wasn't because of the service by Antonio but the other guys who actually acknowledged us every time they came to clean the spot.
Prime Italian has a great wine list , excellent service and nice ambiance. However, the food was average at best. Especially given the prices they charge. The price for the lobster & crabmeat ravioli was $65.00 for an entree, which consisted of five raviolis which were small (around two inches) and very little crabmeat or lobster. Basically, you are paying for the "brand" with very little value in return.
Great place to have a drink and people watch. Definitely not on our rotation.
Went here with high expectations however could not get by the terrible service we received. This restaurant wants you in and out of here as fast as possible. I couldn't understand the rush as there were many empty tables in the restaurant. I have not had the "will you please just hurry up" feeling as pronounced as here. Food was ok, but the service was the worst I have experienced in many years. If you want to spend $500.00 and get in and out as fast as McDonalds this is your place. Can't enforce the rudeness of the staff enough, from the asking to order within 2 minutes of sitting to hovering so we would pay the bill immediately. Our server had the machine at the table before I even got my card out. Best to avoid....
As usual, the food was excellent and I left completely stuffed. However, the fhostess up front needs some serious lessons in managing expectations for being seated. We had an 8:30 reservation and were told it would be about 5 minutes. After 50 minutes and several complaints we were finally seated. I don't mind waiting for a table but that was excessive. May have to go somewhere else to avoid a long wait.
Prime Italian first impression; huge portions, a bit overpriced! Don't get me wrong the food is delicious, but a little on the pricier side. We had the Kobe meatball, one of the best things on the menu we were told by our waiter. The 30 oz ribeye for two, overall pretty tasty just a bit overcharred. The worst item we had was the rigatoni carbonara, honestly one of the least flavorful carbonaras I've ever had. Overall, prime Italian is exactly like prime 112 a place to be seen but there is better food out there.
We had a reservation 9pm on dec 31st. Was very chaotic but finally we got a seat at 11pm. The menu es wide and great. Our server was great too. On New Year Eve you expect great music to improve the atmosphere, you want to spend a funny moment, right? Well, this was not the case.
