This was our first visit to Indique having read excellent reports about the quality of the food. We were not disappointed, it was the best Indian food we have tasted in a very long time. The staff were very helpful in explaining the menu as required. We will most definitely return soon.
Place looked a bit tired when entering, but the food and service and staff made up for that ! Really enjoyed our food every mouthful was so delicious and food looked amazing too , as for the staff so attentive and 5 star "my partner took a flu pill out of his bag waitress clocked it popped over and said could I get you some water to take your tablet!" Service was on the ball ! But back to the food it s extremely tasty and beautifully presented this is not your slap dash one pot suits all kind of Indian! This is a food experience try something you've never tasted before or ask your server they're so knowledgeable and passionate! Thanks indique for a truly fabulous Saturday night loved every minute will definitely be recommending friends and neighbors from Didsbury village and beyond.
As always the food was excellent and the service really friendly and attentive. The staff are really good at helping you to choose what to have if you're not sure or have particular likes/dislikes.
It really is a top-notch Indian and our group of 6 all said it was great. They shared the mixed starter plate and I had the Salmon Tikka which is always delicious. I had my favourite - Jalfrezi with coconut rice which was lovely! The wine is very good (Malbec) and reasonably priced too.
I really look forward to my next visit!
This was my third visit in a matter of weeks. The menu is very extensive and not your typical Indian style food. Very creative and interesting dishes. Presentation of food exceptional. Staff very obliging if you need to omit something from a dish. Plenty of gluten free options - one of my party was gluten free. Would highly recommend same.
Consistently great food and service. They come and discuss likes and dislikes so will add more or less spice according to taste, making it suitable for a group who like different levels of hotness. The food is always well presented with top quality cooking and ingredients. All the staff are really helpful and efficient and the wine list is good and reasonable.
Very impressed with this restaurant. After hearing very good reports I was apprehensive if it would live up to expectation but it certainly did not disappoint!
Very friendly, professional staff offering an efficient service, delicious and extremely well presented food in a relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit!
At last an Indian Indian Restaurant that is genuinely Indian! Well presented " Street Food" starters, Authentic Main Courses and Indian Sweets.
The Manager was very attentive, but not over-attentive.
Do go, you will not regret it. Support the real thing
If in doubt have the Sea Bass!!
It was a bit chaotic in the restaurant when we first arrived ,we were glad we booked it was packed which was a very good sign, lots of tables full of friends and families. The staff were very friendly and the food very tasty so would recommend to other friends.
The food was really great, fresh and modern Indian cuisine without too much greasy sauce and very subtle spices and not too much heat... but the staff, particularly bar staff, were overstretched and the restaurant was very busy. We booked for 8.30 but didn't sit down for 15 mins and took as long to get drinks and a menu, and the drinks order was taken from before we sat down but still didn't come right. The serving staff seemed run off their feet due to a huge party that took up half the restaurant. It would have been much better to not take so many bookings and give better service to those customers in there, rather than keep seating people when the restaurant was clearly full. Would come back as the food really was fab, but maybe only on a quieter night!
Me and my friends went out for my birthday dinner and I found Indique online on Trip Advisor. The reviews looked good so I thought I would try it out. I was pleasantly surprised with the overall restaurant + service. We had free poppadoms at the beginning of our meal and the dinner was lovely. When we received our bill, the waiter asked what the occasion is and I responded with my birthday. He said I should have told him before and he went back to the kitchen to bring me something. After 10 minutes, he came out with a range of desserts on a plate with Happy Birthday written on the plate with a sparkler. Everyone sang happy birthday and it was a wonderful surprise. A great restaurant which I would recommend to everyone :)
Excellent cooking and innovative menu. We went for a family meal. Being vegan & currently gluten free, I was grateful for the diet / allergy tips on the menu. One of our party has mobility issues, and the staff were very kind and helpful. The toilet is disabled accessible, and although the double doors at the entrance could pose a challenge to a wheelchair user, the staff were very attentive. A very lovely evening at a great restaurant. Highly recommended.
Good flavoursome Indian food with an effort on presentation as well. Many dishes are unique and not found on other typical curry house menus. The scallops were inspired and served beautifully. My Bengali style prawns served with marrow were tasty if a little overcooked.
This was formerly The Saffron Lounge and unfortunately still looks like the former gaudy incarnation. The tables and seats are crammed in a typical curry house style. The decor does not live up to the website and design branding. It needs a refurb and a thinning out of the tables to become a proper fine dining experience and the wine list is very basic and not complementary to the menu.
This place has the potential to be very very good, but currently is confused in it's identity.
Had a very enjoyable meal. The service was friendly and prompt. The menu is exciting and makes you want to come back to try other dishes. Nice to have a change from standard Indian menus. The food was excellent and presented very attractively. Pleased to see that it was quite busy for early evening. Hope this restaurant makes it as so many others in this location failed. It deserves to be a success. More people need to turn left when they come out of the Metro!
