From the moment we approached the restaurant on the sidewalk, we were treated as VIPs. Everyone we came in contact with was exceptionally polite, professional, and friendly. It was a very cold and wet evening and as they patiently waited for us to remove all of our layer, they offered us a towel to dry food! We were seated immediately, and it was a treat to simply watch the efficiency and professionalism of all of the restaurant staff as they circulated around this very intimate restaurant attending to the guests. I never felt rushed nor abandoned throughout our 2+ hour dining experience. Each person we came in contact with enhanced the dining experience. We were offered choices from three different menu options and were informed about a dessert option that we needed to order before the dinner as it required additional prep time. Once we placed our orders, we were presented with a wine list and the sommelier came over to discuss our choices with as they would complement our dinner selections. There was obviously tight communication between all of our servers because we never had to repeat a request or answer the same question more than once. We had decided to go with three courses from the a la carte menu, but we received several additional “courses” in addition to our starter, main, and dessert. The food was impeccable. I have never had a better dining experience. Every single dish was plated beautifully and tasted exquisite. The wines were paired perfectly. I cannot say enough about this restaurant and our dining experience. My husband and I would love to return.
Overstaffed, under-executed, seems like it was a foreign language school (only the sommelier was a native English speaker), food was lacking, wind tunnel in the entrance (seriously?! can't you afford to have a properly closing front door?). Have no plans to ever return again.
Great set menu
Amazing! Very good service and foods
Gordon surely doesn't disappoint! One of the best three star Michelins I've ever had
Very good. Service was a bit below 3stars level but still good. Food was amazing at this price. Overall i had a great night at Gordon Ramsay.
I feel lucky to have visited Gordon Ramsay 5-6 times in the past and every time the experience is superb. The food is amazing ,the service is great with Jean Claude as the maestro and the overall experience is spectacular. It is in my favourite 3 restaurants worldwide. A truly legendary restaurant.
Fallen crown or bad night? Tables too tightly packed. Impersonal service makes you feel just like another booking. Food good but not memorable or standout. Price very high and not worth it. Surprisingly still 3*.
The worst of the Michelin restaurant dining experience.
Way too salty, can’t taste anything but the saltiness. Monotonous flavor of every course.
Horrible service. Totally forgot about not adding carrots and celery. Ignored our requests for tasting too salty. Twice!
I really feel fooled by the name Gordon Ramsay.
As usual outstanding in all aspects. Never had a disappointing experience here.
One piece of feedback I will offer though is that at first the service made us feel a little uncomfortable.
Our water glasses were filled after ever sip, as each canapés was finished the plate was whipped away whilst we were still chewing.
This got better as the dining room filled up but at first it was slightly intrusive. Perhaps better pacing is required.
Nice food, service was good but not exceptional. Went for the three course a la carte which was very nice although it felt overpriced. Wine was free poured and the measures are very short which was very disappointing.
Service was impeccable until we were finished and ready for the bill. Then it’s like that forgot we existed. Sat there for 30 plus min with no one asking if we wanted anything else or if were ready for the bill. Finally had to flag someone down. Also, the assistant sommelier stopped offering to fill my wife’s wine glass and acted slightly rude when I ask her for a third glass. Otherwise, the food was very good and the place is beautiful.
They served a dish with a nut in it to my friend with a nut allergy.
Everything is PERFECT.
Simply the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The service, the food, the interior design could do with little improvement. But all in all perfect birthday party. My bucket list for GR restaurant has been ticked. The restaurant lives up to the name of Gordon Ramsey
Food was great as always. Service was uneven.
Superb food and.experience. One.of the best restaurant experiences
Food and service are good, but not comfortable to seat as too many tables in a small restaurant. Also share washroom with man and woman feel not so good
An experience that exceeded my expectations. Remembered our birthday and surprised us with cake, chef's surprises were provided to all throughout for the Menu Prestige, and unbelievable attentive service. Would recommend visiting and definitely plan on going back. Quick kitchem tour also did not disappoint. Matt Abé you do incredible work.
too expensive, but I have a good time in it.my girlfriend like it very much.we wait too long when earning.
Second time we went and enjoyed it tremendously
We had the tasting menu accompanied by the sommelier's choice of matching wines. This comes at a cost but if cost is a prime driver then this is not the place to go. I would definitely urge anyone to go down this route, however, as the wine choices were superb and added to the overall experience. The food was very good and the service excellent save for the maitre d who directed all his knowledge/information to my friend rather than to us. Him aside, the staff were what you'd expect from such an establishment - friendly, knowledgeable, informative & attentive without getting in the way. I'm gonna name check our sommelier, James, for his excellent wine choices & approach to this slightly uninformed quaffer.
It was just fantastic! Everything from the beginning till the very end!
Absolute perfection, I could go on about each dish, but all I can say it is the best meal I have ever had. Each time I thought it could not get any better it did. Service was unbelievable, it is quite an experience. It is pricey, I had to save up for a few months as the cost is way above my budget. Dinner for 2 with their cheapest bottle of wine plus two bottles of water was around $525. I felt like it was money well spent, it was an experience I will never forget and am so glad I went.
Good service and ambience, though food is a bit too salty for us
Everything was perfect - great (and not overbearing) service, delicious and creative food. Staff was friendly and attentive and was very mindful of some food allergies I had. Best meal of my life and I hope to go again.
We visited the UK on vacation and decided to book at Ramsey's to celebrate our anniversary. The food was marvellous and was the perfect blend of traditional and novel. The only downside was the dining room was quite small for the number of seatings they offer, and the tables are very close together, such that we could hear 3 different conversations happening and sometimes not able to hear each other across the table. The ambience was also quite hectic, with at one point 7 staff members serving 2 tables and getting in each other's way, and patrons not able to step to the restroom because of this.
Now I understand the difference between 3 Michelin stars and one star - there is a huge difference. The food was superb although the jury is still out on the slow cooked egg but the front of house service was even better.
Superb as usual. This restaurant deserves every Michelin star plus a few more. Consistently perfect in every way. Food, service and ambience all delivered with grace and style and above all, friendliness and courtesy.
This restaurant is the jewel in the crown of the Ramsey group.
The restaurant was smaller than I expected but was almost full and the service from start to finish was exceptional. The lobster ravioli was generous with the seafood portion and executed well. The lamb navarin dish had incredible depth of flavour. Both desserts were very good and the selection of house made breads (including a bacon and onion brioche) was outstanding. The invitation to see the kitchen was a lovely gesture and warmly received. They even lent us an umbrella to use to get to our car as it was raining. Overall, a fantastic experience with high quality food and wonderful service.
Hard to find the right words, it's far above and beyond the perfection.
It is Gordon's first restaurant. Comparing to other three-star restaurant, this one is very small. The foods are great!
A real treat! Beautifully presented food that has such an interesting yet subtle blend of flavours. Staff that are in abundance, yet glide around so that you barely notice them, yet are pleasant and engaging when you want to chat and to top it off a Maitre d’ who’s a master of his trade.
This restaurant is fking sucks , if you order a table for four , and you just came 2 people , firstly these fking noob will change your table to a smaller one which is for two people's , secondly they will charge you £300 because you just came 2 people , the outside security guard is really disgusting, you have to get in this restaurant like you have a meeting, wear a black suite .. if you wear a leisure suit to get in this noob restaurant, the guard looks you like a criminal.
It would be tough to leave anything but 5 stars. The menu prestige was fantastic. The sommelier was great. The service was such that you'll be hard pressed to find its equal.
It was what I expected from a 3 Michelin star restaurant. The service was great. The food not only looked beautiful, but tasted delicious. I started the meal with a gin and tonic, the only one I had in my stay in London. My first course was the lobster ravioli. Exquisite. My main was the poached halibut. The broth was divine and I've never seen a piece of fish cooked as well. One thing about my ratings. Five stars for value is relative. Value, in this case means the quality of food and service, and living up to my expectations, it does not mean inexpensive. If you are interested in good food and Michelin rated restaurants then this is the place to go. Worth every penny.
As you would expect refined service and classic cooking in a very smart restaurant. However, almost everyone else in the restaurant was from the far east (not a group) which might have contributed to a rather hushed and austere atmosphere.
Top two dining experiences I've ever had. This was simply incredible.
Second visit and once again, cannot fault it!
