Wonderful food again this time. Service was excellent. Music was a bit loud. Overall, this is a great restaurant

We went to WOLF because it was new, the menu looked really good, and I had some familiarity with the fact the owner has a restaurant and reality TV show in LA (I think I watched it once or twice, not a fan). First off prices were through the roof -- but ok, if it's really good and the atmosphere is too, I'll splurge now and then. We decided to try the lobster-ceviche crisps ($32) appetizer. It was basically a mini-taco with cabbage and I'm assuming some lobster. The problem was it didnt taste of lobster or much of anything. It was bland. No resemblance to ceviche either. That dish was such a fail that we stopped right there. Also the wines by the glass were ridiculously priced ($25 for a Belle Glos Pinot Noir). Sorry, wines like Belle Glos *used* to be considered high quality, but when these brands get bought up by large, public entities, they lose all the qualities that made them great in the first place. So no originality or thought put into the wine list except let's see if we can fool some folks into paying up for mediocre wine. Decor, was yet another thing. It looked like something you might find in Disneyland -- made to look like it was some weird eclectic LA vibe but it just didnt work and seemed cheap. No reason togo back and we ended up going next door to Gordon Ramsey's Hells Kitchen-- which was no cheaper but offered better (but not great) quality food. Having been to HK before, I was a little disappointed but would probably giver it anther try -- certainly over Wolf.

I eat here often. Love the burger. Great place to go on a date. As a matter of fact see you this Friday.

The decor is amazing! There's nothing else on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe that puts so much emphasis on Interior Design and no matter your style, you can't deny that Wolf has been designed exceptionally well. Let's talk about everything else: Check in was smooth and professional; our very charming and personable server introduced herself right away and water glasses were filled. We were very excited to be here, and everything started out really well. Then we ordered cocktails and appetizers. Two of our 3 appetizers were served, but without any plates. We were looking for our server for several minutes to ask for plates before flagging down another server who just said "your server will be back". We eventually got our plates several more minutes after that. We also asked about our missing 3rd appetizer, she apologized and said she'll make sure it'll be right out. We never received it. Then, we wanted to order wine with our main course, but we didn't see our server anymore until we were almost done with our main course. The one thing they were very quick about was taking your plates away, in fact, they attempted to do so even before two of us were finished eating. The entire service felt very rushed. At this point our initial excitement had waned and we decided to have desert somewhere else. We were out within a little over one hour. Overall, the experience was only "ok". The food was good, and the cocktails were mostly good as well, but the service was just not there, and the noise level (mostly from the music) made it almost impossible to have a conversation. I doubt we'll be back.

I really enjoyed Wolf. The service, drinks, and food were great. I felt that the music was a little loud.

We’ve experienced this restaurant five times since it open and this was our best service and food. I think we tried everything on the menu loved a lot, some are unique and some we did not care for. It is recommended to try all the different varieties. I think my favorite was the Ragu chili pasta. It just had a better flavor than just red sauce.

Great food and ambiance but smoke from the casino radiates into the restaurant. The restaurant should be sealed off from the casino and have a separate entrance. The entrance on the side street should be utilized and seal off the casino entrance. Also a door should be installed in the rear right corner to permit access to restrooms instead of having to walk through the Smokey casino.
