   First of all a shout out to the serving staff. They were very good. They were friendly, accommodating and efficient. Ambiance in general was OK. It was busy but the setup seemed to give all diners the space to enjoy. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmigiana. She was happy with the Marinara sauce but the fact that the chicken was way to dry was disappointing. I ordered the Penne Pesto with Grilled Chicken and was very happy with the flavor of the pesto but again the chicken was way to dry. We have eaten at Waldo’s before and ordered other items and they were fine but this time we were disappointed with the meals. They just have to do better with not over cooking the chicken. As far as value. If the meals we had were better the value is what you would expect in this type of restaurant but this time we left feeling we paid to much for the quality we received.

   We reserved Waldo's on a whim, as our regular go-to Italian restaurant was booked for a private event. Cute place but VERY tight. I really dislike writing negative reviews but here it goes. We ordered off the summer prix fixe menu. We had the caesar salad which unfortunately was sweet and very mayo based. No hint of classic anchovy flavor whatsoever. I had the short ribs and my sister had the chicken parm. Unfortunately, both meats weren't tender and were dry :( The only enjoyable part of our meal was the cheesecake dessert. We never send dishes back to the kitchen unless the meat is raw, because we know what goes on sometimes with disgruntled kitchen staff, therefore we didn't say anything to our server. But be forewarned if you eat here, the meats will be dry. They need to bring in a real Italian chef who knows what Italian food is supposed to taste like.

   Lovely restaurant. Everyone was so friendly and the food was exceptional. We will definitely return next time we’re in town.

   The food was excellent! Unfortunately the restaurant was very crowded and only 2 servers .. probably short staffed. Would definitely return because food was delicious!

   Great food and drink. We enjoy wine, and having a no corkage Monday allows us to bring one of our own bottles.

   It took longer than necessary for our meals to be served. Someone in our party returned the halibut because it was dry. The other apps and dinners were just ok.

    This was my second time here and it didn’t disappoint. I live in Sacramento and wished we had a Waldo’s here! It was my birthday and they wanted to give me a slice of their cake but I was full from dinner. This is dining my friends. It’s not fast so enjoy a glass of wine or a cocktail. They go above and beyond to make you happy! 10/10
