We had reservations for 645 arrived on time Waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the front to greet us. Then was told it would be 15min while they set up the table. 30 minutes later he seats us. Note by the way the table we sat at was empty the whole time. They didn't set anything up. After we sat down the waiter took our order. Was told they were out of fries for the kids meal. Ok no big deal. We ordered drinks the standard drinks came right away but the bar drinks took awhile because waiters had to sub as bartenders. The waiter takes are food order an hour later it arrives at our table. Some of the food was cold allready and some was fresh. The only thing was one meal was completely missing the waiter then told us that they were out of the Mahi Mahi. After an hour of waiting for our meal the kitchen just told him they were out. Now Mom on mother's day had no food because of the kitchens mess up. The offered to make her somthing else and mom just asked for a burger thinking it would be quick well a half hour later the waiter apologizing profusely, saying he is so over this kitchen brings mom her food and says he took it off the bill. Mom eats by herself as everyone else is done. Oh buy the way mom orders desert when the hamburger arrived figuring that that would save time. Nope like everything else a half hour later. The waiter was not the problem the short staffing and the kitchen was. And as far as a manager being around they were no where to be seen. Never go to this place unless you like cold food and long waits oh by the way the kids meal showed up with fries. Not what the child substituted for because they said they had no fries.

We were up in Tallahassee for a short stay, restaurant is a good value for the food and service was good as well. If you’re looking for a good restaurant that is reasonably priced you should check it out.

The service was great abut the food was not good. The seafood tasted old and bland. Our appetizers came out cold. Would not go again.

The restaurant was dirty, understaffed and the food was either cold, overcooked or taste bad. First and last time.

I made reservations for 6:30 and had to wait, why make reservations if you have to wait? On Valentines not staffed very well. Food was not hot. My waitress was excellent and have to compliment her being understaffed that night she did a great job.

Let's start with what was good about this place. Typical more upscale bar/restaurant ambiance. Very Sweet & accomodating waiter Nate. I am a food lover & I have high standards. I was in the restaurant business for years so I notice things. We were exhausted after driving all day so I was less obsevant than usual. but I think they were understaffed & unprepared for service. Our waiter came back around 15-20 to tell me that I needed to change my order from Jambalya to something else because the chef just informed him that they didnt have rice. This is one of my pet peeves in the restaurant business. The chef should have begun service by announcing to the staff what was unavailable that day. However, this also reeks poor management. A SEAFOOD GRILL that specializes in seafood should be prepared to go to any number of grocery stores to purchase rice for Pete's sake. The alligator bites were great The crab chowder was almost very good. Too much salt that was probably due to liquid evaporation. Unfortunately they added cheese to the bisque. It would have been soooo much better without it. We dont live in the USA and I forget about thecamount of cheese and sauce on things so I'll just say that its probably my tarte that's not the norm here for most of the fare. The biggest problem for me was the kitchen. It was slow, and we had to wait à bit. Then we ordered another appetizer but it came out with the main course. Keep in mind that this was à Sunday night. I had been to the Gainsville location and liked my Jambalya there which is why we decided to eat in the Talahasee location. I would recommend the food in général, just make sure that they have Rice before you order.😉

Slow night. Server was very good. Good selection of beer and wine. Raw & grilled oysters are much too expensive so we passed on those. I had a po- boy. My wife had blackened shrimp on rice. Both were just good.
