Vivian’s Table delivers an approachable take on the chophouse dining experience, drawing inspiration from the culinary traditions of the Bristol community to breathe new life into the cuisine of the Appalachian region.

With nearly 30 years of food and beverage experience, executive chef Jason van Marter is the architect behind the menu at Vivian’s Table. Chef Jason uses his southern, coastal, and Hawaiian cuisine expertise to enliven Vivian’s classic recipes with innovative twists that delight the senses and level up the local culinary scene. He is constantly developing expertly crafted seasonal specials made with local ingredients to bring something new – and delicious – to the table. His unique bites pair perfectly with Vivian’s extensive menu of wine and cocktails for a special occasion or a simple night out.

    Slow service, small potions, plenty of lukewarm/cold food. Steaks at the table were cooked well, but otherwise unimpressed. For the price you pay, better places in town to eat. Blueberry lemon crème brulee was the best dish. Biscuits on the crab cake biscuits were hard and cold. Shrimp and grits was 5 shrimp on top of a small dollop of grits. Even the side portions with the steak were small and highly generic. Servers were very nice and personable. Service was slow and there were few people in the restaurant at the time. Also has to wait 15 minutes past our reservation time. Not a big deal, but didn’t add to the experience.

    The sweet potato biscuits were good but would have been much better if they had been served warm instead of room temperature. My husband enjoyed his eggs benedict. My frittata was not great and was served at room temperature instead of warm. Also, the fruit offerings were not great. We will go back and give it another try. We thought that the menu was nice. The service was good.

    Absolutely amazing! We had dinner 5-10-25 and everything was perfect. Short ribs, Shrimp and Grits, and the Country Cordon Bleu. Perfect portion and flavors. We enjoyed it so much we went back for Mother's Day brunch the next day and it was just as good. We brought our own cheesecake and were very gracious about storing it for us until after brunch. Even brought a serving knife and plates to assist. We paid it forward with a huge slice of cheesecake for the crew and an extra tip for the server, I don't think they minded one bit after that lol We will definately be back!!!

    Our mother's day lunch was lovely, the service exceptional and the food "top drawer", as always. We enjoyed our time together. Best

    Our table was ready for us when we arrived. Our server Christina appeared promptly and presented the menus. Our drinks were delivered and a wonderful dining experience followed. We were impressed with the quality and quantity of food served. Christina was an amazing server. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. Vivian’s Table made it a night to remember!

    Nice setup and everyone we came across was super friendly. Food was ok. Or even a bit better than ok, but not worth the prices they charge. We both had NY strip and while it was tasty, we both agreed that the cut of meat we purchase and fix at home surpasses what we were served. We ordered medium rare and thy were both done medium if not almost medium well on the outside. We didn’t say anything because we didn’t want to make the wait staff uncomfortable. He was very friendly and worked really hard. The side of brussel sprouts did not impress either. But, we left full. We would not go back since the price value ratio was definitely way off.

    What a wonderful experience top to bottom. Great service, wonderful atmosphere, and each item ordered exceeded our expectations. The chef is a true master of his craft.
