Vivian’s Table delivers an approachable take on the chophouse dining experience, drawing inspiration from the culinary traditions of the Bristol community to breathe new life into the cuisine of the Appalachian region.

With nearly 30 years of food and beverage experience, executive chef Jason van Marter is the architect behind the menu at Vivian’s Table. Chef Jason uses his southern, coastal, and Hawaiian cuisine expertise to enliven Vivian’s classic recipes with innovative twists that delight the senses and level up the local culinary scene. He is constantly developing expertly crafted seasonal specials made with local ingredients to bring something new – and delicious – to the table. His unique bites pair perfectly with Vivian’s extensive menu of wine and cocktails for a special occasion or a simple night out.

Overall, our group really enjoyed our meal at Vivian's Table. There was one dish (a steak, chips and ravioli combination that was very disappointing and we shared that with our server. She immediately offered to take it back and let the diner order something else.. They refused, just saying that the chef should know. The trout dip with cheese was also not to our liking , but everything else was very good. The Shrimp and Grits were outstanding and we all enjoyed the desserts. The chef discounted that pasta dish and our server shared that they are redoing the menu in a couple of weeks and the pasta dish would not be on the menu. We'll go back. It's a nice atmosphere, service was attentive but not intrusive and the food was good.

The smoked trout dip was rich and delicious. The grilled salmon was very good with the extra mushrooms. The chicken cordon blue was not good, do not recommend it. It was a chicken leg with the bone. The steak filet was very good. The crème brûlée, orange cake, chocolate torte, and banana bread pudding were all very good desserts. The restaurant is on the first floor, but do visit the roof-top bar.

We were on a trip commemorating our 50th anniversary and Bristol was our last stop. We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate!! Nick, our waiter, and the chef made sure that we were made to feel special! And the food was delicious! My husband had the filet and declared it to be in the top five he had ever eaten! I had the salmon at Nick’s recommendation and it was also delicious! The bourbon caramel sauce cheesecake was AMAZING! Thanks so much Vivian’s Table!!!

I loved every minute of dining in this great restaurant. The food - trout appetizer and the Mediterranean salmon were to die for. I cannot say enough about our server. He made the evening. No rush only I want you to be happy 🤩we will be back!! Often!!

Very nice atmosphere and special because they also had the rooftop. However, the last time we were there the shrimp ordered as a salad add on was translucent and obviously undercooked or not cooked at all . On this last visit the ribeye was overcooked and over seasoned.

Our waitress was exceptional very friendly and courteous as was the young man that seated us at our table - wished my husband a very Happy Birthday 78 yrs old!! I booked reservations here because of the Eggs Benedict - we are from New Orleans and it is one of my husbands favorites - quite disappointing - and will leave it at that - the atmosphere is beautiful - was quiet - and somewhat empty for Brunch Time - highly unlikely we will visit again - not a great food experience.
