Nice surprise. First time visitor. Dined after lunch rush. Creamy hummus was tasty. The Kiwi (named after the owner who is from New Zealand I was told) burger with fries was perfectly done and delicious. Homemade lemon marscapone cake was fluffy and light. This restaurant is a solid choice.
The restaurant and bar are beautiful. The waiter was slow, and it was not busy. Wasn't impressed with the food. Probably won't return. Not our style
We sat outside on a Saturday nite when there was a concert going on in the street across from VB. This was a little loud, but it was over at 8 and things got much quieter. Normally this shouldn’t be a problem.
Food was great, service was great. This was our second time there for a meal, and the staff and owner have been very friendly and willing to share information about the food and the restaurant in general.
Server was great, steak had to be sent back to be cooked a few additional seconds. Scallops were great (and warm) but risotto on the same plate was cold.
We like the place a lot. Nice menu. The service wasn’t quite as sharp as you would expect. Would like to go back for appetizers. Enjoyed meeting the owner, Michael.

Had a nice dinner overall. Seems to be struggling a bit with staffing but everyone seems to be eager to do a good job. I'm trying to go gluten free so ordered a bit differently than I usually do. Had their roast chicken and it was delicious. My partner ordered the Cod which was lovely as well. It's a little on expensive side which I hope doesn't turn some people off because they definitely have an excellent menu worth the price.
Amazing steak frites, so tender. Owner stopped by to tell us about restaurant. They use New Zealand grass fed beef only. Was a treat! Also had rockfish with spring risotto and it was an enormous serving. Delicious and fresh. Another in my party really enjoyed the scallops. We ended dinner with bread pudding dessert that rocked. Also, they have a really nice wine selection/ we were assisted by sommelier who was very attentive.

My friends and I enjoyed a nice brunch on the patio while enjoying champagne cocktails. The brunch menu was excellent and our server made a few recommendations for us. The food was delicious! Definitely coming back :)
Went to check out a new place because Open Table let us know. We arrived for our reservation on time and were seated immediately. The restaurant was mainly empty, but the hostess sat us at a table less than a foot away from another dining couple while the majority of the place was empty. Waitstaff asked if we would like to be re-seated and then moved us closer to the garage doors. Wine menu consisted of ~ 10 red and 10 whites by the glass or bottle. We ordered Butternut Risotto (wife) and Icelandic Cod (me) dishes. It took almost an hour to get served our food and the food was nothing to rave about. The Cod and couscous was tepid and seemed to have sat for a while waiting to be served. The Risotto was undercooked (still crunchy) and again warm not hot. There are no extras included in the meal as you would expect from the price range. Bread is not included but can be bought for additional costs. Normally, my wife and I give places 2 chances before we decide its not for us, however, we decided because the place wasn't busy and this is the best it could present, we will not be back.
Kate is a wonderful waitress, very outgoing and knowledgeable. Food was awesome. We have put this restaurant on our return list.
How nice for a restaurant to accommodate Catholics during Lent by adding specific fish dishes to the menu. The scallops over zucchini noodles in a champagne cream sauce was amazing. The mussels I had for lunch were delicious, too. And of course, the wine is yummy. Well worth the trip.
This was our first time visiting this restaurant and we will definitely be back! We had great attentive servers (but not too attentive;) and the food tasted fresh and well prepared. It had a nice casual ambience with a relaxed atmosphere.... a good place to have lunch/dinner or a drink with friends at the bar.
Salmon, Ahi tuna and burger - all excellent. Service was efficient and friendly. Nice spot.

My wife and I went here for date night. The menu had a great selection and the food was excellent. They had a great wine selection and the service was fantastic. Not too many times I leave a restaurant and tell my wife that we need to go back again....but this is one of those places. Great restaurant!
Every visit has been fantastic. The wine menu is good and the prices are a good value. The bread appetizer with the 3 spreads is delicious. The main courses are also very good. Brunch menu also good.

We had a wonderful waitress which made the experience very good. Another diner and I both ordered chopped salad. Neither of them was chopped. Besides chicken, the ingredients did not match what was on the menu. And the chicken was over cooked. Another diner had the burger which she said was very good. As well as the Monte Christo sandwich. And the fries were amazing!
The Vino Bistro looked a little dark from the outside, due to the tinted windows, but once we entered the door, an exceptional dining experience ensued. This establishment is only a few months old, but they're already hitting their stride. I've read some of the less positive reviews from the first few months of opening, but whatever problems occurred in their growing pains, the Vino Bistro has now made its way into our hearts. We were given a warm greeting by the hostess, Miriam. Sam, our server, was very attentive and engaging, and Michael, the owner, came to our table and made sure that we were well taken care of. We started with the Bouvet Rose, as recommended by Michael, an exquisitely smooth champagne. It paired very nicely with the Artisanal cheese and fruit plate. My wife ordered the salmon. Had she not, I would have ordered it myself, since I noted that it was a Faroe Island salmon, a salmon one rarely finds in even the finest establishments (and which is unavailable for common purchase at supermarkets). So marbled, rich and flaky, it far surpasses the mediocre salmon one usually finds from the Atlantic or Alaska. My wife allowed me to sample her dish, and I must say, it did not disappoint in the least, perfectly joined with the Leek Beurre Blanc, Potato Gnocchi, and Winter Vegetable Medley. What really surprised me, though, was my Filet Mignon -- which competed for the most tender cut that I have tasted in 5 continents of dining. We finished our meal with a cool sherri and a warm bread pudding, which, while not a spectacular dessert, was certainly a fine finish to a singularly rejuvenating dining experience. We highly recommend the Vino Bistro and will certainly return.
This was our first visit and we will return. The food was awesome and Kate was wonderful , very out going and friendly. A great find!
Enjoyed a wonderful Valentines Dinner at Vino Bistro. Normally those special occasion dinners can be rushed and usually not the best a restaurant can offer but ours was excellent. Management is trying hard to succeed and it shows. This was our second time there and will be back!

I'm sure the food is great if we had actually gotten to eat there. Our reservation was for 8 pm on a Saturday night, and when we arrived we got a line about the reservation system being down and no tables until 8:30. We were ready to wait and then we were told there was only one server and 8:30 wasn't guaranteed. A man came up with a half bottle of wine and offered to buy the bottle so he could leave, he'd been waiting over an hour for service. Three separate parties with reservations, including us, simply went next door to Travinia where we had a great meal. Can't recommend unless this issue is fixed.
Dear Lisa, I am very sorry for your experience. Yes, it was a mess. Everything. In over 30 years, I have never had so many things work against us. Two reservations platforms double booking the place, family emergencies reducing staffing, it all come at us on Saturday night. We have had a good track record up until that night of infamy! We had heard great things about Vino Bistro and were excited to try it. The restaurant was full when we arrived but we were seated right away. Our server took our order and brought us our glasses of wine fairly quickly. And then things took a nosedive. We waited nearly 30 minutes for our appetizer, smoked salmon on crostini’s. It was OK, nothing special. I took nearly 90 minutes from the time we were seated to get our dinners. The server offered no explanation for the delay as she approached us at least twice asking us if we wanted another glass of wine. When our meals finally came, they were jjuat Ok. I had the mussels with frites (the frites were lukewarm) and my husband the seafood stew. Our server never came back to ask us about our meals. As we were getting ready to leave, the owner came over and asked us how things were, explaining that the long wait for food was due to a reservations problem. He inquired about our meals and we told him. He encouraged us to come again but gave us no incentive to do so, and we won’t be back.
Dear Michele, Thanks for taking the time to review. Yes, it was the perfect storm for us, who up until that point had been doing OK with our business and it's reviews. While the food was very good, it could not make up for the very poor service. Anything that could go wrong did. Waited for 20 minutes for a waiter to come over...after I went up to the hostess stand and asked. Wrong food came out, the wrong bill came out, was there 2 hours to eat 2 courses. Super slow service, not enough staff.
Dear Alex, yes it was not a night to remember for us either. At all. Family emergencies reduced our staffing levels to the point where we could not keep up. On top of that, we transitioned the day before from "Ressy" to "Open Table" as our reservation booking platform. Ressy was finished, but continued to book as it was still live, unknown to us. The service was good and the sommelier was very helpful. However, we had two issues: 1. we made a reservation via OpenTable. We arrived on time and were seated on time. For some reason, our reservation was subsequently cancelled. I reported the incident to OpenTable and they reversed the cancellation. I am not sure why the restaurant would have cancelled our reservation. 2. we ordered the Steak Frites, medium rare. The steak arrived medium and under-seasoned - specifically it needed a little salt.
This was our first time and we will certainly give it a second try.
