The food and service was phenomenal. I can't believe I had never been here before. Please try the Halloumi Cheese and the Lamb Kapama.

Second time here and like our first experience it was outstanding. Wonderful food and service and you can tell the wait staff, cooking team and hosts really work as a team and it shows. Can't wait to go back!

Yanni and the team at Vasos were absolutely great. Growing up in a Greek family, I am very critical of Greek testy. This was just like Yaya used to make, delicious and authentic!

Vaso's has a delicious lamb shank braised in an incredible tomato-based sauce. Seating was inside or at tables outside. Since it was chilly and windy, we dined inside at a quiet table. The door was open, though, causing it to be very cool.

Kinda small. Ordered the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat and you had the option of vegetables or pasta as your side. The side of pasta came in a small bowl and covered in sauce. One has meat sauce and the other for my friend had sauce with no meat. Neither of us were asked about sauce and it was kinda weird to just have a bowl of pasta covered with sauce to go with my crab stuff shrimp that was on the plate.

The distance inside wasn’t super far, and there were a lot of customers not wearing masks. The service was fair, but took over an hour for us to get our food.

This was our first time at Vaso's. It is a beautiful restaurant. Everyone was social distanced and staff were very nice. Our first issue was with the appetizers. My husband and I each ordered one and they brought them out at completely different times. I had soup and received it first. I was long done with my soup before they brought out my husband's appetizer. Still don't know why they didn't bring them out together. Second issue was my Veal Saltimbacca. The Prosciutto was over-cooked. The veal itself was tender and very good. Overall, the food was good and we will probably return.

Everything was wonderful except for the people waiting to eat kept propping open the doors letting cold air in. Next time I will ask for a table in the back of the restaurant.

On of the best restaurants in Old Town Alexandria, Va. and my wife and I have been to many of them. This was our first time venturing away from the waterfront and Vaso's Mediterranean restaurant was very much worth the entertaining and historical walk./

Good food, great atmosphere (UPSTAIRS!!) and good service

It's okay but nothing special. We chose it because of proximity to our hotel and the menu, but arrived to see an abbreviated menu, limited seating and a noisy narrow eatery. Food portions were okay but you can get more food for the same price elsewhere on King St. Service was fine but we'll try somewhere else next time.

Loved the chicken piccata. Nice wine options. Very good service.

Sort of underwhelmed for what we paid. Nothing was objectively bad per se, but the pasta we received we thought would be part of the dish, not a premade side in a side bowl with questionable meat sauce. And it definitely wasn't handmade pasta.

A return visit-- the Vaso's Shrimp was excellent! A nice dinner on a cold winter evening. Thank you!

A return visit, to a favorite Old Town Alexandria restaurant. We've been going for a time now, but this visit we tried some new things instead of old favorites and may have found some new favorites-- the Chicken Sorrentino was very nicely prepared, and Vaso's Shrimp, delicious! A nice evening!

First time at Vaso’s and will be be back. Highly recommend.

I had planned a dinner event for 20 and we had an amazing time. The Restaurant is quaint, and the services was wonderful. They gave us the 2nd floor upper level and felt we had the restaurant to ourselves.
