   Great night. Prices and choices were varied. Service by Logan was superb. Food was delicious.

   Ambience and decor were beautiful, wished everything else was just as nice. The rest here is just mid. Food slightly better than Olive Garden, which isn't saying much. Everything we tried was over salted. No specials on the menu indicates this is not a chef driven restaurant, probably just corporate food trying to appear to be something better. Shouldn't have expected more at a hotel but for those who are NOT foodies I am sure you will love it. Also didn't expect to have to box my own leftovers, even the Olive Garden does that for u. I guess overall if ur being compared to Olive Garden twice in a review it's not that good.

   I left feeling like I let everyone in my party down for choosing Varia. We will not return.

   The experience was just okay. The charcuterie board had grapes with visible mold, which was disappointing. While the pizza tasted good, it was slightly burnt. They advertised the board as enough for 2–4 people, but my girlfriend and I finished it easily and were still hungry. For a total bill of $112, I expected more in terms of quality and value. Not sure I’d return based on this visit.

   The chairs are way too low and soft for the tables which makes it uncomfortable for eating.

   The Matthew and chef Mateus outdid themselves once again with a perfect pairing. Hats off to a magnificent dinning experience. It was great talking with the owner of the winery Michael to actually get to listen to the origins of the varietals of wine.

   This was the best Italian food I have found in Norfolk. They had really great happy hour drink specials/food and it was until 7! Will definitely be returning on my next trip to Norfolk!

   Our experience was delightful. The waitress was very attentive to us (and all the other tables she had to wait on!) and was able to accommodate any special requests we had regarding our dishes. The live piano music added to the ambience, as well! Highly recommend!

    Great food and love the setting. They seemed understaffed a bit and they gotta come up with another salad as all that they have is the Caesar. Many of the wines were out in the tasting area and nobody was working it. They have great food and settings, and great people, just seems too few for a great experience.
