Established in 2012, I started Urban Grill and Wine Bar to add a quality restaurant with a full bar and boutique wine list to an area that is in desperate need of something unique and family operated. Having spent most of our adult lives in the restaurant business, my wife Jaylene and I understand the importance that our food be of the highest quality and our service be very friendly and professional. Our menu offers a variety of dishes from simple but delicious sandwiches to the best steaks and seafood around.

Service and food were overall good despite the filet mignon being undercooked and sent back but a new one arrived quickly and was good. Dishes were a little too oily, a little too rich and a little too salty, but that may be subject to personal taste. Service was good overall. Room was quite loud and walking outside after was a welcome quieter atmosphere on the patio. We like the place and go regularly, it’s a good solid place but not quite 5 Star, and no cheap anymore! Thanks

Loved it! We had the Gluten free penne chicken artichoke dish and it was great. We also had the meatballs to start and it was incredible.

Great food and service. Waitress very helpful matching our party with wonderful plates. Enjoyed the out door patio seating with the occasional thumping bass and engine pops. Wide variety of food tasted including steak, salad, stir fry and fish. All diners happy. Definitely will return to sample more of the menu.

Great lunch. Our server, Brenda, was fantastic. Over all terrific atmosphere, excellent food and superior service. I will be back!

Our first time at this downtown McKinney restaurant but will not be our last! Fantastic menu and wine/cocktail list. There were 4 of us at dinner and we all loved our meals! Server was especially nice and made us feel welcome and well taken care of.
