   Mis amigas y yo pasamos una noche muy agradable, la comida muy buena. Martini passion drink riquísimo. Y las atenciones por Jesús excelente. Lo recomiendo.

   In a word, inimitable. I’ve had the opportunity, due to my profession, to visit some truly memorable restaurants (the pinnacle being Daniel in NYC) and sample the cuisine of some truly talented chefs. When I was at Disney World, I had dinner at Shula’s Steakhouse and I thought it was so good that I went twice and it’s become my go to restaurant, whenever I am in residence, lol. (Akin to Bacaro in Providence)(RI). My experience at Umbria was even better than that. The food at these restaurants, including that at Umbria, is so excellently prepared, that one begins to question their own sanity when even considering dining anywhere else. The filet at Umbria was without a doubt and without exaggeration, the best that I’ve ever tasted. It was perfectly prepared, inside and out. The bearnaise sauce, which I had been craving was on point. The Carbonara not only delicious, but also surprisingly unique. How do you even make a Carbonara unique, other than by preparing it badly? Apparently by adding freshly shaved truffle and artichoke, which the Chef/kitchen at Umbria did. I had been craving that as well, after having been, as with the bearnaise, so often previously disappointed - as one unfortunately so often is with these items. Here both were stellar. As was the service: warm, personable, friendly, and professional. But most importantly, personalized. A key principle of Forbes Five Star Service is personalizing one’s service to each guest, treating each guest as an individual, as my server Marco (?) from Rimini did. The Inferno Spicy Margarita was also excellent, and I’d know, as I drink a lot of them. It’s my signature cocktail, lol. Don’t even get me started on the bread service! In conclusion, Go! But don’t forget to order a cappuccino. It too was of the highest quality. As close as you’ll get to Italy without having to get on an airplane.

   Absolutely excellent! Pumpkin tortillini was phenomenal. Marco, our server, was wonderful. Giovanni was so kind. Hr gave us a tour of the restaurant and attended to us like we were VIPs.

   Fun night good drinks and amazing service from the staff but I think I’ll be passing on the steak if I ever come back. A very basic filet compared to steaks at similar price points. Other than that lovely establishment.

   Das Tomahawk wurde auf einem kalten Teller serviert. Das Fleisch war kalt, die Sauce kalt. Der Geschmack des Fleisches war sehr gut.

    Everything was delicious! We had the meatballs and the lobster tacos to start. I got the filet with a béarnaise sauce, SIL got the bone in filet, hubby got the rack of lamb and DD got the lobster dumplings entree. All of the entrées were superb. We also got the PAPPARDELLE RAGÙ as a side- fantastic! The double mashed potatoes were meh as were the Brussels, but we were ok with that as everything else was exceptional. We did have one issue with a cocktail screwup, but the beautiful bottle of Barolo we had for dinner more than made up for that. Highly recommend!
