TTT Silver Spring

This was my third time eating at TTT and it will certainly be my last. I made a reservation for brunch and upon my arrival, there wasn’t anyone at the hostess podium. My friend and I waited a few minutes before approaching a staff member at the bar who told us to sit anywhere that was open. We later discovered this same member who be the only waitress for the entire first floor of the restaurant. The service was problematic because there wasn’t enough staff to accommodate everyone dining in and the bottomless brunch had a 90 min cap. Unfortunately, we couldn’t fully take advantage of this offering as our waitress only came to our table every 20-30 mins making it difficult to put in both food and drink orders.

This situation was made much worse when several items we placed orders for were either completely forgotten or were made incorrectly (missing ingredients, overcooked, etc.).

The food is excellent but the small space DOES NOT allow for adequate social distancing.

The establishment was clean and had a fun ambiance. The food and service were both fantastic. The dishes came out hot/delicious and the drinks came out cold/strong:) Bottomless brunch-drinks for less then $40.

My date and I absolutely loved this place! We went for Valentine's Day and it was our first time ever visiting. Everything was PERFECT from the food to the ambiance to the service. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I'm super satisfied with my visit.

Food is always amazing! Love their margaritas too! My server "messed up" my taco order (although it still was DELICIOUS) so she brought us free churros (sp). Can't wait to go back.

mushroom quesadillas, plantains, yucca fries, and queso fundido are all delicious. salsa tasting is very good too

Delicious food and super nice staff

I came here for brunch during Phase 2 of COVID and it was amazing. The restaurant has done a great job of distancing all of the tables and followed all of the CDC standards. My server Daniel was delightful. He was patient and very knowledgable about the menu. Will definitely return to see him and enjoy the amazing food and service TTT has to offer.

Food was just ok. No exciting flavors, nothing unique. Had pork carnitas tacos and street corn.

Was disappointed that they were out of brisket.
Yuca fries were very good. The margaritas were also good.

They DO NOT have the unlimited brunch special anymore. Even though it is still on their website AND pops up in their touchless menu in the restaurant. VERY disappointed!

I was excited to try Tacos Tortas Tequila, especially since it was Restaurant Week, but left a tad bit underwhelmed.

For starters, there really wasn't a warm greeting when we entered. That definitely set the scene. We were then seated, offered some water and then the waiter came. There was no explanation of the restaurant week menu, so Mini and I just ordered. She had the guacamole with chips, and two chicken tacos, while I had shrimp tacos (lettuce instead of tortilla) and a margarita.

While the little one enjoyed her food, minus the corn tortilla (no one mentioned corn tortillas!), I was unimpressed. First, there is a charge to substitute the tortilla with lettuce - really? Second, the lettuce used as the wrap was more romaine-like, and it was difficult to eat the taco because the lettuce did not fully hold the ingredients; it fell a part while eating. TTT's website indicated that "bib lettuce" is used to substitute tortillas...well, what happened to the bib lettuce? It wasn't on my plate.

Further, the margarita was made in batch. Nah, I want my margarita custom-made...not pre-made and poured from a pitcher.

I'm good on TTT. Would not visit again.

Brunch was delicious!

Delicious food and great service. Prices are very reasonable. The brisket is fantastic, as is the street corn. The outdoor seating is properly distanced and the restaurant seems to be following all of the sanitation rules. We enjoyed our visit.

Food (amount served) is pretty good. You can easily share with someone. However, it’s not tasty at all ;(

Great service. Clean and tidy given Covid. Food was good and came out fast. Staff was attentive. We tried all the taco options and the shrimp and crab enchilada. Additionally we had the fried plantain side and the elote. Elote was tasty, not to creamy and cheesy like many places. Drinks could have been better but were fine.

Jennifer was absolutely amazing from beginning to end! The food was fresh, hot and authentic.

Overall a decent experience. Due to COVID there weren’t many people here. Very easy to social distance both inside and out. The food was good, but the service was a bit lacking. For an unlimited brunch the server wasn’t too inclined to let us order much at any one time and spent quite a bit of time away from the table. I understand order limits, but it’s a bit annoying to be reminded the order limit is three - fives times while ordering the first round of food. Can’t complain much about 25c drinks. They were a bit too sweet for our taste, but again, 25c is nothing to complain about. The biggest sticking point for us were the bathrooms. The women’s was fine according to one member of our party, but the men’s was disgusting. The wall next to the toilet was covered in dried boogers and the toilet needed a cleaning. When I walked in there was a wad of unflushed toilet paper in the toilet.

If going here and you don’t plan on getting sloshed on 25c drinks, I recommend sticking with the $18 option which should be more than enough. Food comes out slowly so you end up full and we seemed to be swapping orders randomly with another table.

Not sure we’ll be back (that bathroom is a big sticking point...), but the food is good, the building is nicely appointed, and you can’t get much cheaper than 25c drinks.

The restaurant is fun and friendly with a diverse set of diners and a helpful staff. The food was great! Our group had a range of items from the menu, and everybody enjoyed their meal. The margaritas were fabulous, and the staff kept them coming. They even gave us frozen margaritas on the house at the end of the evening, I guess because we spent so much! :) We'll definitely go again.

I was very happy that the fact the staff were very conscious of the COVID-19 crisis going on and the food was absolutely great the ambience and the music was everything this is my fourth time coming in my first time during this pandemic and I’ll see I’ll definitely go back again!!

We had a delightful dinner at Buena Vida. The food and drinks were excellent and the ambiance was delightful. I’d go back!

Place was great. It was our first time at the place. The lady that helped us first was awesome at explaining the menu. She said she was helping us because the server was very busty. Eventually the server came to our table (30 minutes latter) but did not introduce him self and was not as friendly as the other lady. Not sure if it was because he thought we didn't speak English. everyone who had helped us had spoken to us in Spanish but we are a bilingual group. After that the lady who was picking up the dishes was somewhat rude. I know they were closing soon but we were never notify of that. She tried to make things better but instead it was worst. She was speaking in Spanish but we felt rudeness with us.

Loved it!! Fantastic food. My new favorite restaurant.

Lots of fun, the BV experience is the way to go.
