Loved everything about it! Mexican Japanese fusion. The soft shelled crab tacos appetizer was outstanding. We'll go back for sure!
It was excellent ... except I would have prefer a better table. We were placed in a corner where the serving wares and meat slicer is kept.
Amazing staff , atmosphere and food was incredible.
Estuvo deliciosa la comida .
El mesero súper agradable .
Era mi cumpleaños me llevaron un postre para cantarme Las mañanitas
This is Cabo’s best restaurant. I spend a month in Cabo every year and I’ve tried all of the other supposedly higher end restaurants.
This is my favorite.
Service and ambiance was excellent however overpriced food and drinks.
We absolutely loved dining at Toro! Great food and beautiful place!
Food was delicious . We loved the live band outside on the patio. Great atmosphere .
Definitely a place to try when you visit Cabo.
Outside seating ins beautiful, the service was great and the food amazing.
My wife and I had the fish and was great.
Remarkable meal. Cerviche and sushi was amazing- fresh, tasty, delicious. We ordered all different appetizers. Short rib tacos were not to be believed. Service was impeccable. Signature drinks were delicious. Atmosphere was intoxicating. The meal is not cheap, but well worth the price.
Food was tremendous and the venue was gorgeous. We sat in the open air section and they even had blankets available if it got too cool. Toro was recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. We will definitely be back.
This place is wonderful - incredible food (escolar fish outstanding) service impeccable - gorgeous decor & outdoor seating - live music fabulous. Will come whenever in Cabo as often as possible!! Highly recommend.
Beautiful atmosphere, great service and food, fresh cocktails and live music. Very nice place for dinner. One of our favorite restaurants in Cabo for date night or a group of family and friends.
Just a great night once again at Toro. The food hit all the right spots, appetizers included the Spanish Ham, squash blossoms and himachi to entrees of yellow-fin tuna, beef rib for two and flank steak. Service was over the top as it always is and a special thanks to the sommelier whose wine recommendations were spot on. Will be back soon.
This was our families first dinner after arriving to Cabo. We were here last year for our last night and enjoyed it so much we couldn’t wait to come back. The music out on the patio was definitely something we were all looking forward too. The food and service was wonderful. Nice people and top notch service. Beautiful restaurant and outside patio.
We love the food at Toro, we’ve yet to have a bad meal and the service is nicely attentive.
Terrific! Ambiance, view, setting, menu, food and service were all great! As a great one said, “I’ll be back”.
We had brought our fresh fish here. The chef prepared it 5 different ways!! Really great food, experience and service. Would definitely return!
Great place. The waiter was very knowledgeable and all wait staff is extremely friendly
A bit of a hassle getting the label we preferred but aside from not advising cots of wine we had a great evening
As a party of 8 we expect some delays etc but this was horrible. Two hours for our entree, wrong items, cold items, terrible timing and service. Found the manager to try and get some service but he was overwhelmed as well. The quality of the food they use is high but the execution awful. Can't recommend.
Great presentation and wonderful flavors! One of the best meals we have had in a long time...I think we ended up ordering two more of the crab tacos after the first order came. The Flap Steak was devoured almost instantly. We would definitely visit here again!
We loved everything we ate. Service was exceptional which is hard to find in Cabo. We were hoping to sit outside by the fire however there was a private event. Next time cause we will definitely be back.
Great place loved
Food was not great. We have had really good experiences in the past but this time was fair at best. Tortilla soup tasted like a watered down tomato. Escolar fish was a little dry, sushi was terrible.
Todo el servicio Perfecto, la comida deliciosa. El valet Parking no figuró y es el primer filtro para la experiencia. Pero en general la atención y servicios del restaurante impecable.
My wife and I dined at Toro March 19th 2019. The menu and reviews on line looked good and we both thought the menu & concept sounded great. The venue was very nice and the staff were pleasant, but the food wasn't good at all. The 'tortilla soup' tasted like a can of Campbell's with broken nachos in it. The zucchini flowers were more like deep fried chunks of shake and bake. My prawns were very salty. When they brought over the sashimi plate, they proceeded to drench it in soy sauce and another sauce which took away from the taste of the fish. All in all, it seemed as though they had all the ingredients they needed to create magic but they lack the ability to honestly prepare high-end food (especially for the prices they charge). Venue and ambiance were great, it is a very nice room and the staff were very nice. I think this restaurant needs a new manager who is passionate about the food coming out of the kitchen.
Everything was delicious.
Short rib tacos were more filling than I’d anticipated. Great blend of spices and textures.
Red Snapper with pumpkin sides was also cooked to perfection.
And the grilled Red snapper with a salad side was equally perfect.
Wait service very nice, very knowledgeable, almost too attentive.
Table bussing was annoying, made us feel rushed. The intent was well meant to provide prompt service but it killed the pace of the meal and we skipped desert.
Contrary to many other reviewers we both felt the price was reasonable for the dining experience overall.
Food was outstanding. Maybe the best food we ate in Cabo. We ate well might I add at places such as Manta and Cocina Del.
Views were very nice as well from any where in the restaurant.
Toro has consistently good service and great food. We can't say enough good things about the food, atmosphere and service.
While the food was great the building was beautiful the noise level made the experience not pleasant
From in to out the door, a memorable experience.
Great food presented with a flair!
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Toro. We sat outside near the Whale Tail sculpture and it was beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend the short rib tacos and the tomato, watermelon and mozzarella salad. The sea bass was to die for also. I will definitely go back and highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.
We sat outside which was wonderful with the fountains, lights and band. It was a little cool but the heating lamps and blankets made up for that. The music was great and we loved it but was a little too loud to be able to have much conversation at the table. Food and drinks were great. We had the Peruvian ceviche and the shrimp and crab enchiladas. Both were very good. The house specialty margarita was great as was the flaming Mexican coffee. Our waiter, Octavio, was very attentive, delightful, and fun. Loved him! We would definitely go back!
This is my family's favorite spot in Los Cabos. I brought my visiting girlfriends from the UK and as usual, Toro delivered a memorable evening. From the valet that never let a door go unopened, to the smiling hostesses welcoming you back, to the management who always greets us, to the sommelier (Hector) who always has some special wines and great stories, and to all of the staff who clearly enjoy what they are doing, we are always impressed. Our favorite spot is at the bar and our friends away from home are Francisco, "Shorty", Joel and affectionately the "New Guy". The bartenders and sushi staff are always laughing, smiling and fun to observe and interact with. The food is beautifully presented, always fresh and amazing and the drinks are artfully prepared and great tasting. Can't recommend anything better in Cabo!
We each enjoyed our meal very much. All eight of us got different entrees and they were all excellent.
We loved the restaurant ambiance and the bar. The service was not in sync with appetizers that we ordered to have with champagne arriving before we got our champagne, no water service without asking, not letting us know that you were out of Tuna [?] prior to us ordering and then having to start over, etc...We will be back and hope for more experienced wait staff and a full larder of food available. We travel to Cabo about 6 times + per year so we could be very loyal customers...Thanks.
I am not even sure how to start this review. Three of us went on Feb 19, 2019 and had the most ridiculous dining experience ever. First, we went to order wine and both selections we requested were not available. So I asked the waiter for a recommendation for a bottle of wine around $100-$125 US dollars and he proceeded to tell me that he didn’t have anything he could recommend outside of $300-$500 US dollars?!!! Next, I went to order the Tuna and was told that they were completely out of tuna (keep in mind about 1/3 of the menu is tuna) Then we tried to order a salad and were told they were completely out of lettuce. The cherry on top though was when we asked for a side of potatoes and we were told they somehow were completely out of potatoes as well. Typically in a situation like this we would expect to hear from a manager, however this did not happen. The best we could get was a confession from the waiter that he was looking for a different job.
On the plus side the bread was outstanding.
