This was my second time at Tora and I can guarantee that I will be back. The food, service and environment are amazing. I highly recommend the tartar duo and the truffle rice.

We love Tora and the food and ambiance are always exquisite! Alfredo the waiter gave an outstanding service! One of the best waiters I’ve ever had in a restaurant, who made our experience so unique and enjoyable!

Best restaurant in Cancun!!!! Every element is perfect. The setting is exquisite and they created a magical atmosphere full of energy and charm. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a party of 10. These guys nailed it!

Third and last visit to this restaurant. Made the reservation on Open Table far in advance and asked for an outdoor table to remain as Covid safe as possible. Instead we got a table about as far from the outside as possible. We were in the bar (surrounded by a slew of unmasked patrons), next to the bathroom and the hookah girl who kept running a vacuum to add to general cacophony of the place. We were told we'd get moved to another table but by the second course, we were "unmoved". We were hoping to be outside for the show but the show started and we were still inside and weren't even notified the show was starting until well after the show had gotten underway. We had been trying to celebrate a graduation but were so disappointed in the evening we asked to cancel the remaining sushi roll. The waiter informed me we had already received it so it could not be canceled. Of course we had never received it. I spoke with the manager about it and asked him to find out why the waiter said we had already received the roll and to find out if the kitchen had actually ever made the roll. He returned later to say he had "taken care of it". I had thought he would apologize for the false accusation but he would not. When I pressed him to find out if kitchen had even made the roll, he repeated he would take care of it. I still don't know if he thinks we lied to avoid paying for a roll or if he knows the waiter accused us of eating a roll and trying to skip it on the bill. If he knows it was the waiter's error, somebody should have apologized for that. It never happened. The manager did eventually offer us a table outside and he also made a big deal out of not charging for the celebration dessert. I would have preferred to just pay for the dessert as that token gesture after such a horrible experience was more an insult than anything else. Bad management, bad training, bad service. If you make a mistake, own it.

A magical place where everything was perfect from start to finish. Service was impeccable, food was amazing and the entertainment was perfect for the ambiance.

This was absolutely one of the best meals and din we experiences I have ever had! The service was beyond 5 star, incredible food presentations, gorgeous, atmosphere/view, and fun entertainment. I would 100% recommend to everyone!

Bar service, staff and drinks were excellent! Very loud club vibe. There were lots of staff, and we were not in a hurry-it was vacation, that being said service was very slow. Other tables seated after us, ordered before us. Perhaps some of the chaos leads to confusion. Very cool ambience and vibe. All staff was extremely friendly. If you are averse to noise, this may not be the place. Fun show and music. The spicy fillet was outstanding! Loved it. The sushi was fair, a bit bland, fresh, but have enjoyed better elsewhere. Waited a long time for food and check. One of our rolls came out after we ordered desert. Able to send it back/cancel. Sent us a lovely, creative tequila shot for my birthday, and sang! Very nice touch. I wanted to love this place as much as we did Rosa Negra.

If you regularly have good sushi at home (NYC, SF, LA,etc.) probably will not compare, but moderately okay for the location — the spicy tuna roll was decent.

Most of the fish has to be shipped in - I.e. Ora King Salmon, mostly from Australia/ New Zealand region.

The service was solid for most restaurants in the area.

Es una absoluta irresponsabilidad lo que hacen en este restaurante. No se han dado cuenta que estamos enmedio de una Pandemia?

Ir a un restaurante por parte de nosotros como clientes tiene su grado de riesgo, el cuál asumimos en parte para apoyar a la gente que trabaja en ellos, porque la han pasado muy mal, pero de eso a que en vez de restaurante sea un ANTRO es una locura.

La música mucho más fuerte que en cualquier antro obliga a todos a gritar, fuegos artificiales, para lo que sugieren a todas las mesas que se levanten y se junten cuerpo a cuerpo a verlos y gritar, entre otras muchas cosas es francamente irresponsable y habla MUY mal de los valores de su cadena de restaurantes.

Además del riesgo para sus clientes, que para muchos, incluido el que escribe es menor por estar ya vacunado, no piensan en sus trabajadores?

Una pena la falta de respeto que tienen por la situación tan compleja que viven hoy en día tantas familias.

De la autoridad, por supuesto, ni sus luces....

Tora was an amazing treat! The food is simply outstanding: the quality of the fish, meat, and overall ingredients are top-notch. We were a family of 4; everyone was blown away. The deserts were the final touch!

La atencion del Staff al inicio fue muy mala, hasta un poco groseros. el restaurante estaba a reventar (sin hacer caso a los reglamentos del estado contra COVID)

Posteriormente el gerente Casper se encargó de darnos una mucho mejor atencion

Great fun! Wonderful service and superb atmosphere. Tora will not disappoint. We had two gluten free diners and they took amazing care of us. I preferred the nigiri over the rolls for gluten free options but they went out of their way to make substitutions and we felt very safe in terms of our allergies. The fireworks and dancers made for a much needed festive evening.

This place is amazing! Our server Adrian was very professional and knowledgeable about what to order. The mushroom hot pot was the show. Looking forward to returning during our stay in Cancun.

We had a fantastic dinner at the waitstaff was great. Food was very delicious and with a really surprisingly eclectic menu. Definitely a favorite. Do not miss this gem.

The cocktails and the food were excellent. However I don’t feel like going back because of the poor service. The waiter was speaking all the time about the prices of the items which in etiquette it’s rude to do so. Then they asked 3 times my partner to add 15% tip. He said 10% and the waiter asked me while ignoring him. Again this is unacceptable for this type of restaurant. The table they gave us was facing rear in a corner. So we couldn’t watch the fireworks nor sit comfortably facing the water. It was a corner that normally has to be empty not to put a table. I suggest to do a training to all waiters about etiquette in the table. They had no idea and they didn’t seem professionals at all.

Went there for my Anniversary and was not disappointed in the slightest. The food, drinks, ambiance, and service were amazing, and when I got the bill I couldn’t believe how affordable it was even with getting multiple drinks! I will definitely be back!

I dined here with my Sister and Mom on March 24th. We had an amazing dinner last night. The food was amazing the service was amazing from start to finish everything was Phenomenal and we cannot wait to come back. The wait staff are amazing management was great they were always on the floor wish I thought was great. The check-in at the hostess stand was also great everything was just exceptional.The Hostess was amazing her self. This will definitely be on the list to come back to the next time we're in Cancun. For some reason everyone's saying it's ridiculously overpriced and it's really not It's really affordable so I would highly recommend dining here.

The only downside for me was that there was a note that we were celebrating some birthdays and it wasn't acknowledged but besides that everything else was amazing. 10/10 recommend.
