I’m so happy Plainfield has an option like this and so close to free parking and events at Hendricks Live. The food was excellent, great ROI, the service was prompt and attentive, the decor was lovely and we even enjoyed live piano music while we were there.

Food was excellent. Our server was attentive, personable, knowledgeable, and timely. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We will return.

We were greeted and seated promptly. Ambience was nice, even had a piano player. Our waiter was pleasant and did as waiters do..took our order, brought our food/drinks, and cashed us out. As for the food, no one at the table was like.. “this tastes amazing”..it was just.. slightly above average. Could have gone to a number of Mexican restaurants in town for 1/2 the cost and gotten better chips and salsa. I will say the quac.. the guacamole was the best thing of the evening between the five of us. It would have also been nice to be able to see the menu online prior to arrival.

Wow! If you haven’t tried this restaurant, you should! Food is top notch. It is not like the standard Mexican fare at other Mexican restaurants. It is authentic, and just unbelievably good!! We loved it! Our server, and I can’t recall his name, was fabulous. If I lived closer, we would go here frequently!!! This is a great place, so don’t miss out.

My wife had won tickets to a concert and a $25 voucher at Tlahcos. We regret going to the restaurant. The service was the worst dining experience we have ever had. The waiter didn't understand what we meant by voucher. He kept saying everything was great, but it wasn't. We got our food, and the tortillas didn't come until we we halfway done eating. We kept having to get the young female manager to get anything done. The waiter wanted to keep our voucher at the end of the meal. The voucher included other free things at the concert. My wife was livid, and I was stressed from the poor service. We barely made it to the concert across the street in time. We had a reservation at 6 pm and the concert was at 7:30 pm. I recommend that if someone wins a VIP experience to go elsewhere for dinner.

It was hard to know how to review this restaurant because we never got our entrees. Their kitchen was horribly backed up because of a special event.While that can happen, there was very little attention to the tables to try to manage expectations and even refill water while we waited over 30 minutes for a cocktail. Our apps and drinks were comped, which was appreciated. With another place to be, we left without dinner. We made the reservation with ample time to get there.
