The crab cakes were horrible. It was fishy and had a lot of fillings.

Our Server Zach was awesome. He was very knowledgeable of the menu and very attentive to our table.

I had a family emergency and the were accommodating with me moving the reservation time. Also the football was great and they give you large portions.
I would definitely go back for large partys of 20 (Like I had) or just for two.

I was here several years ago and remembered that the food was good with good sized portion. I came back for my birthday and introduced my husband to the establishment. The food and atmosphere was great, it did not disappoint. We will definitely be back!

Everything was extremely great especially the lobster tail stuffed with crab meat dinner , very filling, I plan to have mother's day there with mom.

The crab cake smelled funny and tasted funny. It was not seasoned or fresh. The breading on the shrimp and fish was horrible. The only good things were the drink and salad. Paid $125 only to eat a salad and have a drink. What a waste for my birthday

Honestly can’t remember the food or the service because my date was so gorgeous! However, the seafood Diablo leftovers I took home was great the next day , and I got a second date so five stars! 😁

Service was terrible. Bathrooms filthy. Had to wait 20 minutes for our waiter. Never checked to make sure our food was ok or if we needed refills. Had to wait an another 30 minutes for food. Guests were arguing at multiple tables. Never again.

It was the first time my family and I visited the place we wanted to enjoy the experience but it was not that enjoyable they had none of the sides we wanted the food was kind of bland and the server looked overwhelmed with the tables maybe we will give this restaurant one last try later on our time for now we won’t be going here any time soon

the food was very good except the Greek Salad had no onions or cucumbers in it which it should. The server was pleasant and spread way to thin so he wasn't on top of things as quickly as he should of been. They need more servers

The food is NOT worth what they charge at all. Most items on the menu are in the $30+ range and are subpar. We went for our son’s birthday dinner so he could have a crab cake. That’s probably the only reason to go there, but those are even overpriced in my opinion.

The wings were under cooked and cold. The breading on the fish was too thick.
The service was slow.
Overall, the rest of the food was excellent.

My husband and i went here for our anniversary we ordered stuffed lobster it was very raw the portion was great but the food was awful also the salad that we had the only thing I can say that I enjoyed was the bread with butter

I booked at Timbuktu because I love the food , and again the food was awesome the steak was cooked perfectly and the crab cake was amazing as always. However I did not care for the crab dip this time around and it cost $19. The service was horrible. In fact I had to go get the receptionist to take my order and bring out fresh bread for the table.. then never was checked on until the food came. I even had to flag the bus boy down to get the waiter to pay my bill. I still had to give it a 4 star because the food was awesome as always.

I don’t know what happened over the years but the crab cakes have completely fell off. Both mine and my fiancé went for Valentine’s Day, and both said the inside of the crab cake was mushy. We ended up saving it and broiling jt ourselves to have it fully cooked. Now we understand it was Valentine’s and covid, so maybe they were short staffed but the it took 40 mins just to get a drink. Once we finally ordered it didn’t take long to get the food but I guess not when it’s not even cooked properly!

The service was really bad. My waiter was unprofessional and I found him to be rude. Example I'm allergic to certain ingredients in the cocktail sauce so I just stay away from it all together. I asked the waiter for Ranch dressing instead of the cocktail sauce. He said verbatim....No that's for the Shrimp. Keep there. I said I don't eat it. He ignored me.

Overall, the experience was fair. The food was good. It was hot and fresh. However, the service was extremely poor. While the staff was polite and gracious, it took forever to get the food and just dragged the dinner out. There was no sense of urgency at all, no inquiries about refills, anything! it really took away from the experience,‘especially for the price. We left the recommended tip, just as an expected notion. The service was by no means representative of the service. Won’t likely be back.

The overall experience was just ok. We were seated in a section where the ceiling was leaking and the water actually dripped onto a tray with food to be served. The crab cakes are heavily breaded. Our server was great.

I will say Anne was amazing. Her customer service was very warming. She took care of all our needs. When my wife is happy, that makes me happy and Anne has a warm spirit about her. I recommend anyone who visits this restaurant to ask for her.

Had a reservation, that meant nothing. Took 15 minutes to be greeted/checked in/acknowledged. Another 10 to be seated even though plenty of tables were empty/clean available. Food was quality of course. I eat here often by carry out, so I knew the food was going to be worth it. The dining in experience wasn’t one I’d waste my time on ever again. Carry out my friends

During the pandemic, Timbuktu has stepped up their game when it comes to safety and service. Food is fresh and tasty; I came to the restaurant with my best friend from out of state, and she was impressed. Spread out seating, decent service, and budget friendly. Favorite menu item--oyster Rockerfeller (their oysters are HUGE!!!)

I will be coming back to Timbuktu for my birthday month--can't complain about this establishment!
