Welcome to our British restaurant and pub, with gardens, in the picturesque countryside of Cornwall, between Truro and Newquay. We offer sustainable British pub food, with a luxury approach. It’s a simple offering but really showcases the best of produce from in and around Cornwall. Our Sunday lunch is perfect to come and enjoy with your friends and family (and your dogs are more than welcome too!).

    Booking- They were happy to have a large mixed group including a vegan and were not put off by potential complex allergies. I had to ring several times to make changes to the booking and they were lovely each time. Finding it - a little bit difficult in the dark. It’s in the caravan park. Inside - nicely decorated. We loved the music and it was just the right volume Food - fantastic, though there were odd discrepancies in portion sizes. The fish and chips were huge, the vegetable dishes much smaller Staff - perfect. Attentive without being intrusive

    Great food, wonderful friendly service, and a fantastic evening. Just a bit sad I couldn’t eat everything off the menu, but happy I’ll have to back to try the different dishes.

    Superb Sunday Roast - well cooked and full of flavour. First class service. Great wine list.

    We visited for dinner on a Saturday evening, with our six year old. The service was very good and the restaurant has a lovely ambience. Think elevated cosy country pub. The food was fantastic overall, but the beef cheek pappardelle lacked depth of flavour you'd expect from a ragu. The short rib, cauliflower cheese and trifle were stand-out and even my son's dishes from the cubs menu were very good, especially the cheese doughnut starter.
