The Smith - Nomad
So quiet when you get there for breakfast before 8!
Great host/hostess team along w waitstaff! Food was delish, of course👍❤️‼️
Great food, friendly staff, nice cocktails, very beautiful interior.
Great food and terrific ambience not even too loud
easily one of my new favorite go-to restaurants in NYC
Great place for brunch.
The waitress and waitstaff were very pleasant. Sadly the food at this restaurant was little above an Applebys. I can't imagine how there are so many good reviews. My chicken pot pie was a skillet of inedible chicken with grizzle in a tasteless flour gravy. My husband's pasta was better but not by much. Even the bread was awful. It seemed to be full of tourists and 20 year old girls. I would never eat here again. And it wasn't cheap. The wine list was also from hunger. Don't eat here.
Good food and good service
Food, drinks, and service were all great. A little pricey, but nothing out of the ordinary for New York
Service was fine.
Food was good, but jalapeño grits need more than one sliver of jalapeño, and the shrimp were over cooked. Otherwise, very goods
Great server. She was incredibly sweet. Like The Smith in Lincoln Square, the service here was quick and efficient.
The quality of the food and the upscale setting never ever disappoints! It is a very noisy and crowded location, though, so not suited for intimate conversations. More for energetic, hearty brunches.
Awesome food, table and service!
Meeting an old friend for brunch
Mushroom flatbread, Mac and cheese was delicious. Drinks were wild. Definitely going back on Friday.
Delicious food! Can’t wait to go back!
Try the Short Rib pasta. It did not disappoint.
Food and drinks are reasonably good! That is why I come back many times. In addition, nice ambience. Very friendly staffs from the front to the bar tender,
Jenny, damien, Jojo,etc.
Omg, I so love this restaurant. A new location for us and just as great. The waiters and managers are wonderful, and the food is excellent. With gratitude, each time...
The food was fantastic! Great brunch!
The service was great! Although my friend is late for about 45 minutes, we still get our table within 2 minutes after she arrived. The choice of brunch is great and the quality of food is good. We sat to talk for another two hours without being asked to leave. No complains, great place to meet and catch up!
An excellent place for a family brunch or brunch with friends. Great ambiance, and exactly the same as other Smith Locations (in case you're worried they won't have your favorite dish)
Went for brunch and we all loved our meals. It was a great find
Wouldn’t call the noise level energetic. Just loud and unbearable. Couldn’t hold a conversation because it was so loud. Awful acoustics or lack of.
Not very good
Four of us enjoyed a good dinner at The Smith prior to going to the theatre. It was around the corner from our hotel. We had a good time and I’d go back , either with a small or larger group from work.
Two of us had pasta, which I almost never have in restaurants, the squid ink and the mushroom, both were very good. Others had a grilled cheese , fries and an ahi appetizer, which were good. Brownie sundae for shared dessert which was really good. Service was excellent. It’s a little loud in there, it’s big and there’s slot of tile but I asked for something quieter and they put us in the back, which worked out well. They have some nice booths about midway back which looked pretty good, and you could sit at the bar by yourself or with another and be pretty happy. Big restaurant but they get the food out. I’ve seen the smith before when staying in the neighborhood , I’ll go there again.
Service was attentive without being pushy, and the meal was fantastic. We arrived early but they were still able to seat us after a little wait, and we had one member of our party who is notoriously difficult to please in restaurants who was delighted and satisfied at the end of our meal. All around, a great evening.
Food was excellent and consistent as always. Celebrating a friends birthday. It was so loud that it made it impossible to hold a conversation without yelling above the already loud groups around us. Took away from the overall good time.
The Smith-Nomad was so accommodating to our large family party, ensuring our glasses were full and that we had exactly what we wanted. The only comment I would make is the pizza that our children ordered isn't exactly a traditional pizza, more of a ciabatta bread with sauce and cheese. They didn't eat it, and I would have ordered differently had I known. Everything else was phenomenal!
Everything started out well, but the noise level was crazy. We had to leave before receving any food.
The Smith is a fun place to meet up with friends for a casual meal with friends. I had the Old Cubano cocktail which was really delicious. Our group had the mussels, the shrimp and grits and the short rib pasta. The favorite dish was the mussels-wish they served bread with it because the sauce is great! Try the apple pie for dessert-it’s quite good.
I consider myself a bit of a regular now. It's my goto place for a quick lunch meeting with coworkers, friends and customers. The food's always on point, the service is great. One suggestion is that you should always make a reservation if you can, as the place gets pretty packed during the lunch or dinner rush.
I literally eat at the NoHo Smith once ever two weeks - usually for breakfast. I love the service, ambiance and food.
A very good restaurant- we had a large group and the food was served promptly and the service was very good. Friendly - would definitely recommend.
The food was really good and the service was attentive and even though it was noisy, our party was able to enjoy a convivial brunch seated in a booth.
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend!
Great wait service , food and drinks
