The Silo Cookhouse offers a culinary farm to table journey set amidst the tranquility of the Farm’s eclectic dining room and the splendor of sweeping sunset views of Mt. Pisgah. We offer an a la carte menu, communal seating dinner service Tuesday-Saturday evenings, and Brunch on Sunday from 11-5. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, at 4:00 when our bar opens up! Please make your reservation time at the time you would like to be seated for dinner.

Thursday’s Are For LOCALS!
Henderson, Transylvania, & Buncombe County residents will receive 20% off at The Silo Cookhouse and The Stable Spa EVERY Thursday. That's right. We love our locals and want to see you at least once a week!

Superb in every way. A very unique farm to table vision with a sophisticated menu and very fresh food. Charles was our waiter but assisted by a team who were equally professional and attentive. Everything was served family style for easy sharing. Tomato salad was super fresh, burrata with squash was delicious, halibut with white beans beautifully plated and flavorful, and chicken roulade was moist and enjoyable. Our desserts were equally superb. We will absolutely return.

Most of the experience was outstanding. We were a little disappointed with the entrees (pork for us, halibut for our guests) but all of the small plates were delicious. The setting is very beautiful and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will be back.

We celebrated my mother’s 70th birthday with Brunch. It was a beautiful day so we got to enjoy the grounds a little. The food and service were perfect. I listed do not recall for the noise level because we were probably the loudest in there (children). But there were plenty of indoor and outdoor areas to escape to if the kids needed a break from using inside voices at the table. My husband and I are already planning our next visit.

Amazing place. Food is delicious, vues are breathtaking, ambiance is relaxing with some nice background music. Staff is incredibly welcoming and professional. We were there as a family with 2 younger kids and they had the best time going around the property, looking at the chickens, the horses and going to the playroom. The playroom is so special, for kids as much as for adults. I will definitely go back and would recommend it to everyone, adults only, families or group.

This place came highly recommended so I was eager to give it a try when my mom was here visiting. I’m sorry we did. Our waiter told us the short ribs had won ribbons so of course, being from a bbq loving state we had to try them. The cassoulet that came with the fish sold me on my choice. We were told the ribs were enough for three people to snack on, I’m not sure if the kitchen did a switch or our waiter wasn’t informed, but what we received was two traditional ribs (not short ribs and how do you split those among three?). The meat was very dry, too. Usually the meat should fall off the ribs with just tour fork but she literally sent her knife flying trying to cut the meat off. My fish was good, however, several of the beans in the cassoulet were undercooked. I was told Thursday’s was locals night with 20% off so after waiting 15-20 min for the manager to return to correct our bill we were handed our bill with the 20% off and a “Thursday surcharge” of 20%! I’ve never seen anything like that!! I get wanting to make sure people tip on the non-discounted amount, but there are other ways to do that. And you better believe they still leave room for an additional tip. I was completely turned off by this place. The setting is beautiful, but it wasn’t worth it to me.
