Ribaut Social Club is a restaurant and social space for Beaufort locals and visitors to mingle over cocktails and impeccable regional cuisine.
Our aim is to capture the incorrigible spirit and convivial atmosphere of the original Ribaut Club, established at the Anchorage in 1891. In its heyday, the Club hosted performances, grand parties, dances and even gambling—a raucous getaway from buttoned-up social strictures of the time. Today, guests can cocktails and dinner with unrivaled water views or a sophisticated brunch surrounded by 300 years of Beaufort history.

The setting is lovely. You feel you are in a special place in history. The staff is very welcoming. Cocktails are great and made to order. The food is delicious and the presentation appetizing. Service is excellent. Enjoying an evening at The Ribault Social Club is an annual experience we totally enjoy and look forward to every year.

We had a great experience and will come back to the Ribaut Social Club. The food was absolutely amazing. It was such a special place to celebrate a birthday ! Lobster bisque was to die for !

A very enjoyable evening. The food was prepared to perfection and served promptly and efficiently. Our hostess was very personable and invited our guests to the upper veranda to view a spectacular sunset.

Sarah was our server, ensuring our entire evening was exceptional. This included the table we sat at (outdoors until it simply got too cold), to the way our food was prepared (to perfection), and a special dessert for me since I was allergic to the one on the menu. The mansion is magnificent; we went to the third floor to watch the fireworks over the bay! Can't wait for our next visit.

This place, decorated for Christmas, was a delight for the senses. Just the beginning The food was superb, every selection chosen, service impeccable- make a special night of it for yourselves!

Excellent food and wine experience! Chef made numerous visits to explain the coming dishes, as did the wine merchant who discussed her next wine pours.

A wonderful experience. The food was delicious with great flavor and presentation. The new Chef is GREAT. The service was professional with lots of charm. We will be back soon.

Once again, a beautiful evening at Ribaut Social Club. This time I was being gifted a get-away weekend from my daughter who stayed at our home to take care of my husband. A good friend joined me to dine on the front porch, a favorite spot, and, as always, our cocktails, food, wine and servers were the best. I always feel pampered when I dine at this lovely Beaufort restaurant.

The Ribaut Social Club was the perfect place to celebrate our 39th anniversary. Chef Robert prepared a delicious meal. My husband and I shared the tomato and burrata appetizer and a healthy yet tasty salad with apples and field greens and other goodies. For entrees, I had the chicken Marsala and my husband had the pork chop which was the most tender pork chop he’s ever tasted. Both entrees were perfectly seasoned. For dessert we had a vanilla crème custard with fresh berries. Sarah provided excellent service, and the bar tender made a delicious mocktail for my husband and apparently specializes in this which makes it nice for those who prefer a non-alcoholic beverage. The setting is fantastic! We sat outside on the porch where we could see the sun setting over the bay. We highly recommend going to this unique restaurant in the historic Anchorage Inn.
