   Service and food was excellent. The restaurant was decorated for Easter and was lovely. Food was of excellent standard and very tasty. We'll done to the chef and staff

   Young waitress needs to learn how wait on. Banged down drinks glasses on to table, over familiar use of language and asked us to pass plates down to her rather than walking around (smallish) table to collect. This may sound quite petty but it appeared quite disrespectful. Other staff acted perfectly well and food good as usual

   Great experience. We had Sunday lunch. Really good portion size, everything cooked perfectly, extra gravy provided. Desserts also very good. Would highly recommend. Attentive servers too

   Having eaten here on many occasions the service and the quality of the food has always been consistent - it’s excellent . The staff are always lovely too. The extensive menu makes choosing hard as everything is tempting, with massive portions presented beautifully. We’ve had their steaks and they were cooked to perfection - with two different cooking requests at that! The various sides and sauces are just gorgeous. The value for money is also impressive, we just really cannot believe how they do it, but very grateful they do. If you appreciate great quality food and service with true value for your money then look no further. It’s top restaurant quality in a lovely family friendly pub environment.

   We eat at the Red Lion very often and the food standard is excellent. Meals are expensive nowadays so you want value for money and will not be disappointed.
