The Morris is a new restaurant and bar in a truly unique location. It’s connected to a boutique, 17 room colonial hotel and courtyard located right next to Washington Square Park. We have a scratch kitchen that only uses the freshest ingredients available by season. Our bar program consists of delicious hand-crafted cocktails, organic wines, selection of local beers, and spirit-free beverages. Whether it's for a casual night out, business dinner, or date night, we are so excited to serve you in our newly renovate dining room or in the garden courtyard!

We went for Philly restaurant week and had such an amazing experience. Erin was our server and an absolute gem. The food was magnificent and at $60/pp, incredible value.

Delightful, intimate restaurant with indoor/outdoor options and and excellent bar. Restaurant Week menu was delicious!

Wonderful food!!! We had a bottle of Cabernet, the Welsh rarebit, a house steak, rabbit pie, and the posset for dessert. Everything was fabulous and our server, Leith, was outstanding. Great place to have a special dinner

Food and service were excellent tonight The shrimp and linguini special was perfect. We love eating under the tent outside where our dog can join us. The servers are so pleasant. We enjoy this restaurant and return frequently

A marvelous restaurant especially the ability to dine in the gorgeous garden of an historic building in Society Hill. I encourage everyone to try it. You’ll love it like we do

The ambiance and service is very nice. After many unavailable trys I was finally able to order the chicken entry and it was very good.

Absolutely fantastic service every time I've eaten here. The food is generally excellent (but not everything is always to everyone's taste). Indoors is more pleasant than outdoors, where they have set up a big plastic tent in the courtyard (in winter with heaters, in summer with fans - but less atmosphere in winter, and because the tent has sides and a roof it does not feel as nice as the courtyard would be fully open air, although it would be a pleasant courtyard.

Very nice brunch on Sunday. Upon arrival we were checked in and taken to our table outside. The restaurant was active outside, food was great. We will be back again.

Interesting options on the menu. Cantaloupe appetizer special was wonderful. While the stuffed chicken breast was very good (nicely seasoned), I didn’t really taste the goat cheese. Hubby loved the rabbit pot pie. Our waiter, Leath, was very good and made an excellent wine recommendation. Seated outside in the hotel courtyard which was nice given the great weather. Prices were reasonable. Overall, highly recommend this restaurant.
