Our only 2 concerns were , lighting was lowered and proved a bit difficult for 92yr old.to eat fish when looking to avoid bones. Perhaps a few more candles at table would have helped. Secondly, food was very salty, especially the crab cakes. Love the restaurant so will return for sure but these are our comments. Thanks!

The mighty St. Lawrence views, great food and attentive and friendly service make dinner on the veranda atThe Ivy a must in the summer. What a perfect long weekend Sunday night!

The view was outstanding. The waitress was great. The food was quite good. The hostess who sat us should not be in a service poisition and started the entire evening off on a sour note. I made a 5 pm reservation to celebrate my mother's 93rd birthday. Ninety-three year olds eat early but okay with me as I thought that I whould have my pick of tables at that hour. Nope. We were taken to a table with a limited view. We came for the view. I objected and was told they had a lot of reservations. I said "your website clearly states preferred tables can't be reserved. We are here at 5 pm and there is literally no one else in the restaurant yet you are saying we can't get any of the free tables NOT reserved by someone else". She said "I will have to check" and then left my mother (did I mention she was 93....) standing for a few minutes before coming back to give us an acceptable table. Happy Birthday.....

A beautiful brunch day on the St Lawrence. The brunch menu had lots to choice and the food was just delicious. We enjoyed some specialty cocktails and walked the gardens after our meal. A wonderful experience.

Well, we didn’t find out that they were down two people in the kitchen until after our meal was done and bill payed. We waited an hour and 45 minutes for our food after placing the order. One of the two steaks was a quarter of tendons and fat. Our crab cake appetizer was still frozen in the middle.

Last minute decision to book a table at The Ivy restaurant. It had been awhile since we had last visited. Sat on the outdoor covered deck and it was a beautiful evening. Blankets were offered if we felt chilly which we did not. Everything from the appetizers to the the main course to the incredible peach cobbler for dessert was delicious. Highly recommend going. A little pricier than some places but well worth it. Definitely will be back.
