The Italian Club Fish Restaurant
Stupendous food in a beautiful ,romantic city.Such an atmospheric restaurant
Excellent find - small restaurant that had great seafood options. The Lobster Spaghetti was delicious.
We had the seafood platter and it was one of the nicest meals I’ve had! The food was amazing and the service was amazing. We will definitely be going back
Good selection of interesting seafood dishes. Good with allergy help and information. Location is also very convenient.
A very good menu range with good selection of catches of the day. I had prawns to start followed by grilled lemon sole - both well cooked and presented. A good range in the wine list, but limited on what is available by the glass.
Spaghetti with clams was outstanding. Very convenient to our hotel on Hope Street .... only a 5 minute walk.
This is our second time at this restaurant and it didn't let us down, the food and service were excellent
The food was ok, the service was ok, everything was ok. Just the prices the restaurant charge you should be getting better than ok.
Fish was delicious and well-cooked and presented. Service and general ambience pleasant; overall an enjoyable evening
I self think its best italian restaurant at Liverpool.Becouse i been before couple times .Very well atmosphere like at home.Friendly professional staff and nice tasty food.Thank you.
Another gorgeous meal. We just love this restaurant. Highly recommend. Staff are so lovely. Thank you
Great ingredients, well cooked. What more could you ask for in a restaurant?
First time dining at the Italian Club Fish and we will definetly be returning. The food was first class and we couldnt believe how reasonably priced it was. If anything I would say the food due to the quality of it is under priced. Lovely dining experince for my family, more so my 8 year old son who decided to try Oysters for the first time. Highly recommend paying it a visit.
Food was over-priced. I had salmon with pasta in a cream sauce & struggled to find the small pieces of salmon. There was a huge portion of pasta but meal was boring & bland. I wouldn’t recommend it
Well worth a visit if you are a fish lover and in Liverpool. Family run, excellent service and good quality/ value.
We were seated upstairs - pleasant and did not feel we were ‘packed in’. Food & service excellent. Only general disappointment was bill was incorrect twice, but this was sorted out.
We was a party of 4, everyone enjoyed the food, but its was expensive evening.
Fresh fish, excellent oysters! Service somewhat unprofessional. All in all good value for money
First time here, although slightly cramped seating, the food was incredible! Me and my partner shared the seafood platter for his birthday and we loved it! A whole lobster!! Amazing
I had asked for an accessible table and got one but sadly there was no accessible WC.
All 3 of us enjoyed our food enormously. Nothing fancy but maximum taste and quality.
Probably the most I’ve paid for a lunch in Liverpool but I would be happy to go again (as long as I remember to go to the loo just before!)
It was my brothers 70th birthday and we had a fab time, the food, the staff everything was brilliant. The best oysters yumm.
Was a decent experience but there was few issues too. Located in a lovely area of Liverpool between the Cathedral and the city center. The quality of food in general was good but we were there (4 adult and 1 2yr old girl) and we need to wait more than 2 hours to have 2 starters and 4 main, which is too many time if you are there to visit the city and to keep calm our daughter. The starters was very good for freshness and quality but regarding the main, we ordered 4 types of different pasta and considering that we are all Italian in an Italian restaurant we pretend to receive pasta properly coocked but unfortunately was very overcoocked and not a good tasty. Price on line for we had. They can improve a bit.
Good service. Tasty dishes. A bit loud in the restaurant and difficult to hear each other speak.
Faultless in every sence ..... this was a truly gastronomic dining delight, I've only given 5 stars for service as the option for 10 stars is not there. I was expertly looked after by a young man by the name of Tom who in my opinion was the finest host I have ever come across, nothing was to much trouble for him.
Next time I'm in liverpool I will not hesitate to dine here again
It was very busy and we waited quite a while for a drink. Food was lovely and good value for money.
Great menu with quality food and wine and friendly and helpful staff
Excellent food with friendly service. A splendid meal
Fantastic food and atmosphere as expected. Even accommodated a last minute change to our booking. Would definitely recommend.
My mums choice of restaurant for Mother’s Day. Not being a fish lover I was worried what to order. I chose a dish with a mixture of fish and absolutely loved it! The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was great. A thoroughly enjoyable evening
Good all round service food and ambiance
I am such a fool for went to the wrong place, the italian club instead of italian club fish. Didnt realize it until the main dish came up, however i really enjoyed my time at the italian club. Tasty food and friendly staff.
I went to the italian club fish to explain the whole situation. The staff was so nice to cancel my booking.
Definitely gonna visit on my next liverpool visit.
Went to this restaurant with some friends. They went back the following evening !
Visited the restuarant during a 3night mid week break. Found the restuarant on line with good reviews
The food was excellent and they catered for a gluten free guest without any problem. The only thing that was suprising there wern't many other diners in the place.
We have eaten at the Italian Club Fish Restaurant for many years and we have always enjoyed the full experience. The food and the Staff are excellent, always.
Excellent service and food. Acceptable waiting time. Lovely ambience and we could all hear each other speak.. Will definitely recommend to others. Have enjoyed meals in the sister restaurant further down Bold Street.
My biggest regret was not being able to take home the remains of the sea food platter, ie the shells, to make of fish stock.
My only suggestion is that the sea food platter dish requires a lot more napkins!
Great meal though.
Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit here, the food staff and venue all superb.
We chatted to other diners either side of us and they had visited previously and would return again.
This is without doubt an excellent fish restaurant and we will dine there again for certain in the not too distant future.
I've eaten at the Italian Club Fish several times now, and it's always a great experience. The food is fantastic, the waiting staff are attentive and friendly and the ambience of the place is always really great.
I had the swordfish for my main and it was probably the best swordfish I've tasted. It was just slightly charred on one side from the griddle pan and combined with the butter and the lemon flavours contributed to a great experience for me and my partner.
The wine selection is fabulous and pairs well with the fish. We had a bottle of pinot grigio and the pear really brought out the flavours of the food.
Bargain deserts too! Thanks again.
We went here as my son and his girlfriend highly recommended it. I had the seafood pasta, which was lovely, but my husband had the seafood risotto which was very disappointing. Quite tasteless really. I reluctantly swapped halfway through the meal so he could try mine. He didn’t want to swap back! The bread to start with was a bit too thin and crunchy. The olives were very nice though.
I wouldn’t rush back, but I probably would go again at some point .
