                                                                        Very good service, good generally is consistently good, price-on par for Harvard square ( not cheap). Good choice for lunch or dinner in heart of the square.

                                                                        This was our 4th visit here. The food is delicious. This time my wife and I shared the crab fritters for the appetizer. For the entree we had the frutti de mare and the salmon. Cocktails were also delicious (we each had 2) The strawberry rhubarb crisp for dessert (yummy) and the French press decaf coffee. Leila knew the menu inside and out and checked in with us at the appropriate times. She was friendly and professional. We are looking forward to our next visit!

                                                                        Overall, the Hourly is a go to for us when visiting the area, but this last time seemed like everything was a little rushed. Out party of 6 had to sit in the raw bar area which would not have been bad if the wind wasn’t blowing in the front door. Food is always great and the atmosphere is always lively but it just felt a little off this time around.

                                                                        Come here all the time for a reliably enjoyable dining experience. Had the Icelandic cod tonight - the kitchen is clearly upping its game. Highly recommend for good value in Harvard Square.

                                                                        The reason to go to the Hourly is great seafood. It's not an especially fancy place. The service is nice, but nothing to brag about. If you sit at the counter, you get to watch professionals shuck oysters. Not all that interesting, but much less noisy than sitting at a bar and hearing all the noise attendant on making cocktails. But you go to a restaurant to eat. Everything we ate was delicious. The mussels appetizer was perhaps the best mussels I have ever had. I love scallops. I order them frequently in restaurants. The scallops at Hourly were as good as any I can remember. I usually don't order dessert in restaurants. The desserts are usually over priced, magnificent to look at, but disappointing when eaten. For some reason, we ordered Basque Cheesecake at Hourly. It was delicious. A lovely end to a great meal
