The Henry - Coronado

While on vacation in Coronado, we were told we must try The Henry. It was the best meal we had in Coronado! Outstanding!

Some of food came to the table cold. In trying to resolve, used broiler which over cooked the fish.

Good food and an energetic scene on sunny Coronado.

Service was a bit slow but very friendly. Could of been warned with a heater but none close by and no one to ask to move since our waiter was so busy.

Inside/Oustide dining open air and great spot to stop when shopping around Coronado. Devil Crab dip is amazing.

Excellent food and service. The tables were fairly close in parts of patio but server moved us easily when we asked to be someone with more COVID friendly spacing.

Really enjoyed

Arrived a little early for our 11am reservation. Thought we would still be able to order brunch told no and we had to wait until 11 for lunch. Told we could order a beverage at take out stand. Made no sense asked why we couldn’t order beverages at table told service didn’t start until 11 although there were plenty of people seated at tables working on laptops or eating. Once we were seated waitress didn’t appear until after 11:30. Not impressed with lunch menu options or service. Have been to The Henry before for cocktails and dessert, service and food were great then.

The entire experience was delightful. The waitperson was personable and remembered us from the initial visit. Food was attractive and tasty, my Brussell sprout caesar salad with the steak was very tasty especially the crunchy croutons. The fabulous carrot cake topped off the meal with a cup of coffee. Great setting to enjoy the lively vibe.

We weren’t a fan of the Mac and cheese noodles. But everything was great!

Great meal and great service! The sangria is a must.

Made a reservation and ended up being late but was seated no problem. Our waiter was superb and made great conversation with us. Great experience!

Beautiful restaurant in downtown Coronado. The food is excellent and the ambience is outstanding. Our waitress was one of the bests. I got a salad that was absolutely delicious and the pretzel appetizer was amazing. Loved it there, sitting out on the patio enjoying the sunshine and watching people walk by. Oh, and don't forget the bread pudding, some of the best around.

I went there for lunch,it was packed so make a reservation for sure! The food was very good, big portions, service was excellent, love the vibe, I would definitely go back and recommend.

The Henry is our usual go to restaurant when we visit Coronado. The food was not like before it’s changed. The soap I usually order was too salty . The quality in general has gone down maybe because of covid. We ordered drinks and literally all ice. I asked the waitress that I don’t want that much ice on my second drink and she brought me a drink that was just a quarter filled. I mean I didn’t ask for more alcohol they could have put more juice.

This is my 2nd time in a week as I’ve had multiple family members visiting! The short ribs potstickers are AMAZING!!!! Do yourself a favor and get them!!! Also, had the sprouts and squash salad with chicken again... always my favorite! The Fig Mule was great and refreshing also! And, per their usual... their staff is always accommodating and professional!

We like to sit at the bar,the bartenders are very friendly and attentive.Remember what you drink and very knowledgeable of the food and menu. I ordered the Braised Short Ribs and house salad,my friend ordered the Korean Flank Steak and Caesar salad and everything came very much to are liking!

We celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary! We absolutely loved it all! Vlatanir was a fabulous server!
