                        It was alright, but you’re sat in the lobby of the hotel around threadbare couches, doors wide open getting the sounds of eyre square, people walking into the lobby with their bikes, etc. Just not the elegant or refined experience you have in mind when you book afternoon tea. And like, the saucer under my cup had been dirty (not a huge deal as food doesn’t go on that, but still a bit of an ick). Not super well presented on the table. The server was nice. The food was nice. But yeah, overall a kind of mediocre experience and a bit overpriced as a result.

                        I had afternoon tea with my daughter. We had a lovely experience. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive and we weren't rushed. The lobby area was perfect for the occasion. Really enjoyed it as a treat.

                        A very enjoyable experience. I received it as a gift, which was fabulous as it's not something I would normally do. Quite expensive for what you get, but a lovely treat. Service and atmosphere was great and no pressure to rush us out.

                        Beautiful ambiance, our server was lovely and very helpful but I felt they were a bit short staffed overall which caused a delay. We substituted out a couple of sandwich fillings we didn't like - I thought the sandwiches could have been a bit better - they were all the same white bread, except the smoked salmon on brown bread.

                        Really enjoyed our Afternoon Tea at the Hardiman. The setting is lovely nice selection of food. I didn't like the truffle in the egg sandwiches but other than that everything else was delicious! Staff are lovely and friendly and helpful and the pianist playing in the back ground is a lovely touch!

                        Afternoon Tea. Poor show to be fair. Scones were stale and dense. Salmon wraps were soggy and the Pate was sour. All the savoury eats were very poor. The sweets were ok... The "macaroon" was just a meringue kiss with cream and a berry and the Profiterole with cracklon was soggy. All in all very disappointing at 32€ per person I would have expected fresh selection not pre-made soggy refrigerated food. Service was slow and the Piano playing was actually quiet intrusive in the space.

                        I was treating my Mother to afternoon tea for Mother's day and her Birthday. The food was lovely but we would have preferred more sandwiches etc as there was 4 of everything on the sweet cakes etc! There was plenty of tea and coffee. The staff were really lovely and had little chats and were attentive. But we did have an issue with one Spanish lady..a manager, I believe. She came over to ask how we were getting on and a chat which was fine, until, she didn't know when to leave, I don't know if it was a language barrier but several times my mother said "we'll say goodbye now as I want to spend time with my Daughter" and she wouldn't leave, as the teas/coffee's were getting cold and we couldn't relax and enjoy. So I excused myself for the bathroom thinking it would be a hint as I didn't want to be rude and she still had not left. My mother had to tell her straight, so that was awkward! Everyone else was so friendly and mannerly. We received a lovely plate with Happy birthday for my Mum but it was advertised that Mother receive a special present on the day, which wasn't mentioned! Overall it was pleasant with the lovely piano playing in the background. We often go into the Hardiman and have a light bite and a drink but I wouldn't book the afternoon tea again.

                        Could not praise our afternoon tea yesterday everything from the food to the staff was outstanding, staff members coming down to check were we okay and if we needed anything I thought was so nice as not many places would. I will defiantly be returning here again soon and really enjoyed the day. Thanks to all the staff at the Harridan for your kind service.
