Since 2004 we have been serving the breathtaking Somersett Community with American Eclectic Dining. We are committed to providing quality food, outstanding service, and a family-oriented atmosphere. We serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner six days a week presenting unique specials daily. Grab a bite to go when making the turn during your round or catch the beverage cart for your golf refreshments.
Dine with us to experience views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the neighboring community. Reservations are not required but are greatly appreciated.

Tonite was Italian night at The Grille at Somersett. My husband and I were joined by another couple. There was a buffet set up featuring romaine lettuce with Ceasars dressing, parmesan cheese and croutons. Fresh , flavorful and delicious. It was accompanied by excellent garlic bread which was warm, chewy with a delicious flavor. Also on the buffet was sausages, chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan and a pork dish. Kudos to all. The highlight, however, was the pasta bar. You were given a choice of spaghetti or tricolor rotini. The chef sauted to order your choices of fresh veggies including asparagus, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, broccoli, garlic, zucchini; ground beef if you like, then added your choice of red or white sauce and topped with parmesan cheese. Really delicious. Dessert was also available. As a vegetarian I greatly appreciated the variety of choices available. Service was very good. I would highly recommend The Grille's special dinner events or the Grille's menu in general.

Can't really say much about the food yet, we were at The Grille that time for a wine tasting event, so the only food were appetizers. The staff of The Grille were awesome throughout the event. We visited again for breakfast a few days later, and the food was good, the service pleasant, the view gorgeous. Highly recommend.

Slow poor service. Waited extremely long time for two salads, watching later arrivals being served hot food. Actually got up to search for someone to see if our order was lost. Understaffed. Servers were very nice, not their fault.

The Grille was very noisy last evening.. My Salmon was severely overcooked (hard..).. The waiter took it back to the kitchen, and replaced it with another piece, which was cooked perfectly.. and was delicious. Unfortunately, the kitchen was slow, and I was too full to enjoy my new Salmon. Other diners at our table felt that the food was very mediocre. Service was slow.. due to kitchen.

The menu was a Mediterranean buffet. Unfortunately, the cooking method employed non-Mediterranean spices. For example the Baklava contained pepper. Also the spanakopita was not crispy but was soft. The chicken, pork and lamb were excellent. The servers were excellent as is the ambiance. We will return to give them a second chance.

Had a Mediterranean buffet. Could not order off menu - had to have buffet. Food was bland, limited and boring.

The venue at The Grille is very inviting especially in the summer months when you can enjoy happy hour on the patio overlooking the golf course. We recently visited for the Mediterranean buffet of which the menu, price, details were not available until the day before. Upon arrival, the food was ready in the warmers but disappointingly, the food was mediocre at best. The Greek Souvlaki (chicken) was very dry and the Spanakopita and Baklava were both difficult to cut/separate from out of the warmer onto your plate. Even the Moroccan Lamb and Italian Porchetta couldn't save the day. Overall, it was not worth the effort or the price.

This visit to The Grille was very disappointing because the manager did not honor our reservation made through OpenTable. Upon arrival, the front podium staff member began to escort me to the patio where I had reserved a table. The manager stopped him and told him that we could not sit on the patio due to a special event . She pointed to an undesirable table in the noisy dining room and that's what I got. No apology from the manager. Our server was good and attempted to make it an enjoyable evening. But when requesting a table on the patio, with the view and fresh, then being forced into a noisy, no view indoor space, it was a hard sell ! The reservation was made multiple days ahead and I am certain this "special event" on the patio was already on their calendar. Big fail by the manager.
