Had a wonderful experience with my date. We both thought it was a beautiful area with great service. Perfect outside spot for a warm sunset evening.

Sat outside for brunch - very COVID-friendly, tables well spaced. We were comfortable and enjoyed the great food and drinks. Highly recommend for brunch on a nice weekend morning.

The Grill has easily become one of my favorite places to dine in DC! This time around, our server was Brandon and we set out on the patio. Brandon was wonderful and made sure the beverages of my friend and I stayed full! Highly recommend outdoor dining if available, the mussels for lunch, or ribs for dinner.

Everything was great and fresh .

Calamari and oysters were good but very small considering located at the wharf. Deviled eggs were delicious. Menu not the same as listed on the website and some prices differed. Branzino was not whole but cut in half and wasn’t worth the price. Service was very good.

Sat outside on a Saturday. A few birds joined. Food was great. Had the express which included Salmon with a side sauce, fries, salad and a sorbet for $29. Parking is expense, not discounts for being patron of any restaurant.

Food is wonderful! Prepared to perfection and of very high quality.

Food was very good, we were sitting at the terrace. Unfortunately out there you get the smell of weed since it's so close to the sidewalk... not good. Great service and also great list of Gins.

Went for Easter brunch. Has a great vibe and food was good! Something for everyone. Their Grill Punch was so yummy!

Literally fantastic meal, maybe the best steak I’ve had in years. Only issue was people trying to order “to-go” at the bar. They’d invade dining space... Should’ve been done another way.

The manager was welcoming and charming. He remembered us from a prior visit and made our experience a delight. We will be back!

The Grill is one of my go to restaurants for a casual night out, and even date night. The service is always wonderful and the food is excellent.

Delicious and creative flavors made our meal wonderful. The creamed spinach and filet mignon were delicious! Loved the red cabbage & goat cheese, along with the Spanish eggplant! The lamb skewers are to die for! But the best dish of the night? The apple gallette for dessert! Flaky and perfect. 🥰

I feel like we ordered some of everything. The deviled eggs with caviar were amazing, the tomahawk steak was cooked perfectly, the bronzino had a great spice, and the calamari was great but our server was having real issues aaaaaaand when you spend $500-$700 plus dollars the service should be spectacular.

Fabulous meal today at The Grill. Delicious halibut, sweet and flakey, on scrumptious saffron risotto. Best fish I've had in a restaurant in DC!

The food was excellent, the service was prompt but not intrusive, and the social distancing measures were well-thought out and sensible. Looking forward to bringing family here when it’s safe for them to visit.

Wonderful dining experience. The manager greeted us when we came in and was so polite. The server knew so much about the menu and was very attentive with drinks and anything we needed. The main meal was wonderful and the dessert was to die for! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Jo Jo and our server Brandon were amazing! They made my birthday dinner a special one! Brandon made excellent recommendations and he was spot on! He was attentive and polite! What an experience, will absolutely be back!

I was pleasantly surprised at my experience. I picked the restaurant based on the online menu. When I walked up to it, I assumed the inside would be very casual due to the signage. I was pleasantly surprised, however, that the inside was rather chic and everyone we encountered was extremely pleasant. Our server, Kay, was so knowledgeable of the entire menu that we basically let her plan our meal. We did the pre-fix menu and we were tremendously stuffed! We loved everything but particularly enjoyed the appetizer salad, and the bacon wrapped dates. The steak was tender and the grilled pineapple cake was delicious--yet not too sweet. If we could give any feedback is that I wish the cake was warmer upon serving. Other than that I can't wait to go back to The Grill. It was the outing we needed after not getting out for the past year.

Super waterfront dinner outside with Brendan--highly recommend the prix fix "Mixed Grill." Justin & Joe-Jo were the managers with the most. Friendly, fun all around.

Everything was top notch. We ate outside, but inside the plastic. It was warm enough, and a beautiful day to boot. Lovely lunch in every respect.

This was the 2nd time we have eaten at The Grill. It will not be the last. Everything about the experience was great. Jojo goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and special. Great job to all!

First time, everything was delicious. I was saddened to hear my server didn't have the opportunity to actually taste the different steak. At this price point, I expected him to help me decide between 28 day dry aged and 48 dry wet aged.

We had a great dining experience . Our server Maurice was fantastic . The host Jojo was very professional , attentive and had the best drink suggestions .
