We booked our table for 7:15. We arrived at 7:05 and were seated up the back of the room. There were only 2 other tables of customers. We ordered drinks but the glasses were warm. We ordered both starters and mains. Starters arrived after 20 mins and there was a hair in the soup. We did not complain as we did not want to make a fuss. We were left waiting for 30 mins after we had finished the starter for the main. In this time nobody came to clear the table, the mains eventually came and the starters were removed, we had no cutlery for the mains and were unable to get a member of staffs attention for new cutlery even though at this stage we were the only customers left in the restaurant. We searched other tables in the room until we found one that was set with cutlery. Mains were only warm and we felt like they had been sitting for quite a while. Staff never came to ask how our meal was after either course or if we wanted to order dessert. We decided it was time to leave as they were mopping the floor around us. We did not finish the mains. Very unattentive considering we were one of 3 tables and the only table left in the end.

The portions and food quality were very good. Nice ambiance. Our server was extremely attentive despite a busy night.

Keep away went on sat evening was put in a fiction room to eat not at all what we booked also a shortened menu which we were not ifformed of warm wine staff had not got a clue

Ate here before a gig this past weekend. Menu was a set one due to the gig which was fine. The server informed us that we could only get plastic glasses for our prosecco due to the show- keeping in mind this was at 5pm and the show was not until 8. The food was not good, reheated pre prepared and just not good. Just not good enough really, you're paying good money to get decent food and service and that just wasn't it. Not the fault of the server that she couldn't give us a proper glass for our drink but ridiculous rule none the less.

Brilliant atmosphere in the restaurant with many people dining before a show. Staff were under pressure with the crowd which I totally understand but it took ages for anyone to take our order and then they forgot about different items we had ordered and we had to request things a number of times. Once our main meal arrived the staff stopped coming to us and we had to go to the bar to ask for anything, eg. dessert menus or extra drinks. The new decor and menu is lovely and a great boost to the town. All my feedback is with a hope to improving the service and I wish the restaurant the very best! Well definitely be back again.

The food was good however the service was bad. The mains was wrong. Had to ask twice for a desert menu. Dinner plates not all removed before desert brought out desert. Desert was also wrong twice. Third time lucky. They were polite but didn't come back once to make sure everything was OK and had to go to till to ask to order desert and still took over ten minutes to take order. The place wasn't that busy they were clearing tables instead of attending customers. I think it was probably a lack of training. Would put me off going back.

The place doesn't even deserve one star. Table booked for 5.45 ordered at 5.50 by 7pm after asking 3 times we walked out as we hadn't even got our starters. No explanation everytime we asked, no mention of delays just we will check. The 3rd person at the front desk was very ignorant and told us well we are busy and there is delays we stopped taken orders that was at 7pm could of been told that at the time of ordering. Never again!!

We went there before our theatre show, and was very good, pretty fast service, considering was full, and very nice food, no complaints.

We arrived early and were seated straight away. Good selection on menu from starters to desserts. Food was good but it is just pub grub. Nothing fancy. Good portion sizes
