Award-winning Executive Chef Dan Wecker shares his passion and dedication through seasonal menus boasting a fusion of New American and French- Inspired dishes -- the perfect balance of classic and creative cuisine. A thoughtful wine list and signature cocktails start the adventure. Signature Cream of Baltimore Soup and Chef's own pan mustard sauce for crab cakes are a notable twist. On-site Green House and Mushroom house add to the intrigue. Finally, in-house desserts will add a memorable sweet ending to your experience. Our circa 1744 Tavern Restaurant, 1810 Manor House along with 12 acres of grounds and gardens makes for the perfect dining escape. intersecting literature, history and geography as story with our food. Experiences including monthly themed teas along with wine and spirit coursed dinners are sought after pre-paid options. Patio and Porch dining available.

We couldn't have asked for a better meal and dining experience. Everything was so delicious that the five of us completely cleaned our meal and dessert plates. The staff, from hostess to waitstaff, couldn't have been nicer or attentive. This is the place to come for the best of the best!

What a delightful and home-like experience in a historic setting! The young waitstaff are delightful and personable. Chef Dan even come out to greet the guests. He is a great conversationalist and very knowledgeable about the property’s history.

We had just got back from a 9 day vacation in Arizona, but we really wanted a good steak. And Chef Dan always delivers. Our steaks were perfect and delicious.

The service was outstanding by all the staff. The waiter was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The soups were delicious. The ostrich carpaccio was excellent. The entrees were good but somewhat disappointing for my husband who had the Beef Wellington. Although it was cooked well, the overall taste was rather bland. I enjoyed the crab cakes. This is the only restaurant to have truly gluten free crab cakes which I have wanted for quite a while. The dessert menu was limited so we opted not to have any. I appreciate true farm to table food. The food is generally top notch. This one meal won’t keep us from coming back.

We went to celebrate a birthday, and it was our first time there. The food is farm to table and the chef has a unique take on the food, which was delicious! We even tried ostrich for the first time! The server, Jason, was well informed and helped us get out of our comfort zone in terms of what foods we wanted to order.

Great all around service. The food was good, but I did not see or taste shrimp in the quiche. Love the variety for brunch.

We have not been to Elkridge Furnace Inn in years and remember it not being all that great for the amount of money it cost. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was really quite good and some unique items like the duck fat latkes. We will definitely be back!
