The hush puppies are a must try. The Chicken Marsala was very good as well. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio enjoying the view and watching the golfers in the practice area. Our servers were pleasant and very attentive to our needs. We highly recommend The Creag anytime you're in the area.

Wonderful view cool rustic decor great hush puppy and I don’t typically like them. They are more like cheese balls!

Since my last visit, I found the menu had changed and was very limited. The food was mediocre and was served warm, not hot. I had first time guests with me and was very disappointed in the food and service. The server was very kind but either the chef was busy or the server had too many tables to serve as the wait was longer than expected.

We sat outside in the cool morning breeze and the view was beautiful. The food was great but a slightly expensive for a biscuit and potatoes a piece. The service was lacking and needs to be improved bc they were not busy and it's not a big place so there should be no reason to have to sit and wait for a long time on anything for any reason. All in all I would go back bc they food was good.

Service- Good Food quality/quantity-Good, with exception of a side item, that should have been hot, served barely room temperature. Noise level/ambiance- loud! and while moderately busy, not full. Would not want to be there at capacity. No reflection on Management/staff; the building design is hard surface, sound reflective. View, if seated where you could see out, would be nice in the day. We were at night. Value- moderate to a little high. Have easily gotten better for less, with much better ambiance.

We dined at The Creag for dinner to celebrate my birthday on Friday evening. The restaurant is located on top of a mountain beside a golf course with incredible views. They were fully booked for the evening so it was quite busy. Due to this, they ran out of martini glasses so it was a little disappointing to order a martini than was served it a low ball glass. However, it tasted wonderful. We ordered the hush puppies as an app and had the shrimp pasta and pork entree. Both of these were excellent. We were so full from eating our app and entree, we declined dessert. Our kind server (I think her name was, Meg) didn’t charge us for our app as a birthday celebration gift which was such a sweet surprise. Because the resturant is adjacent to the golf course, there is a possibility for some large tables of men golfing groups who can get really loud. It’s probably not somewhere to dine for a quiet romantic evening especially if it’s over a weekend night. Overall, our service and dinner was excellent.

We sat outside on the patio. The view and the weather were perfect. We had a great server who was very helpful and attentive. Our food and drinks were excellent. It is one of our favorite places to go!

We dined here on a quiet Monday night on the patio…maybe we were expecting more but this is a golfing country club restaurant. The Mclemore hushpuppies were excellent with the Chicken Marsala being good. We did not have cocktails as we had them already at the Mclemore Hilton resort earlier.

Took some friends to The Creag for a birthday celebration and was perfect. Weather was great and we ate on the patio. It was the perfect place to have a quite lunch and beautiful view and wonderful food.
