Established in 1992 by Mike Connor with the help of family and friends, The Chop House® has become one of the premier casual restaurant concepts in the Southeast, with 12 locations spread across 4 states.

Our number one goal is to provide a superior dining experience to every guest. We do this by providing guest-obsessed service and generous portions of delicious food using the freshest ingredients.

    Our waiter Austin was amazing! Everything was served perfectly and was delicious. My only regret is that we don’t have one of these in Waynesville, NC Menu is awesome and food preparation was spot on. Been to many five star expensive restaurants that were terrible compared to this chain.

    The food was not what we were expecting. The waitress was Good and the dessert was the only thing that stood out. Not a good overall experience.

    One of the best places to visit in Kingsport TN. Tyler our waiter was very professional and friendly. The food was served hot and perfect, as expected. Steak was prepared as ordered. We were seated in the back where it was nice and quiet.

    Our food was delicious as always! We would sincerely like to thank our waiter and the management team for making this a very special birthday for our Poppy! Thank you for taking extra time and effort to ensure we were taken care of of every need met! You ALL ARE EXCEPTIONAL!!

    Unfortunately our experience at Chop House this past week was not great, which isn’t typical. The service was all over the place and multiple mistakes were made. The server started out with forgetting to bring a drink to one of us and he didn’t get it until we were eating the meal (he did have a water to drink while he waited). My husband and I usually order a large rice we and split it, adding on a couple of sides, otherwise we don’t finish the meal and some is wasted. The order was a ribeye medium, salad with ranch, baked potato and mushrooms and an extra plate. We received a half salad (she rang it up to be split) with French dressing instead of ranch and a whole salad with French dressing. The dressing dumped into the salad so she said she would bring us another but then left the half salad anyway. She sent another whole salad but with no dressing this time. I ate the half and my husband asked for dressing and went ahead and ate the whole since they couldn’t serve it to anyone now. The steak came, no extra plate. The steak was not done enough but it was okay. The server took so long to come by that we ha already eaten half of it on a shared plate. She did offer to bring a plate but what was the point then? Lots of little things went wrong and no, we didn’t complain while there, maybe we should have. It was a 20 anniversary dinner with friends (which the restaurant was aware of) so it was disappointing. As I said before, this isn’t typical so we will of course go back, it is my husband’s favorite restaurant.

    We had excellent waiter and service he gave us during our meal. The prime rib was awesome--delicious and one of the best I have tasted
