Established in 1992 by Mike Connor with the help of family and friends, The Chop House® has become one of the premier casual restaurant concepts in the Southeast, with 12 locations spread across 4 states.

    The Chop House is one of my favorite restaurants. Great food and service at a very good price. Lunch or dinner, never had a bad meal.

    Reservations got us to our table right away past those waiting. Food taste from bread, appetizer, dinner was excellent in flavor and filling. Only downside was it was the busy time of night and it took awhile for the appetizer to show up. Definitely would go back though because the taste was delicious!! Staff was friendly too...

    Our waitress was very nice. But in reference to the food, 2 of 4 of our dinners were not good! They were not at all cooked to order and although they took our steaks back to the kitchen to have new ones prepared, it took a very long time. The rest of our party was finished with their dessert before we got our steaks! So we took our dinner as a carryout.

    The reservation process was quick and efficient. The hostess greeted us warmly when we entered and we were quickly seated. Tonight, we ordered a shrimp cocktail for sharing, the grilled salmon for my wife and the pork chop for myself. We asked to substitute our side dishes and they gladly accommodated us. The salmon was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The pork chop was very large and excellent. We were tempted by the dessert selection and had a key lime pie and the caramel cookie topped with ice cream. All in all, this was an excellent meal.

    Food was amazing. Prime rib and ribeye were both phenomenal. Our waitress was very kind and helpful. We sat at a booth in the bar area, only complaint is the obnoxious bartender talking about nudes and sex loud enough for everyone in the area to hear.

    Food was very good- everything came exactly as ordered. Service was outstanding for our party of 10. Recommend highly.

    Salad was great and so were drinks but burgers were undercooked and cheese wasn't melted. Over all was ok but has been better.

    Wonderful, service, exceptional dinner the food was amazing. I got a slightly larger baked potato, but I’m not gonna complain because the prime rib was so good. The dessert the strawberry shortcake thing was amazing. Highly recommend.

    Very disappointed with this visit. It took over an hour to receive food. Steaks were way over cooked and bland.
