As a fine dining establishment, the restaurant has a dress code for indoor seating. STARTING MAY 01, 2023 RESERVATIONS INSIDE JUST CALLING THE RESTAURANT. ALL RESERVATIONS ONLINE WILL BE SEATED OUTSIDE PATIO. Nice attire/business casual is appropriate. No shorts, torn-jeans, hats/baseball caps, tank tops/tee shirts, flip flops/sandals or open toe shoes.

For summer patio dining is casual. Please dress appropriately for outdoor weather as we may not be able to move you to an inside table, if needed.

No children under 12 years old on Monday's - Saturday's (evening fine dining). No children menus.

The setting was beautiful and the service was great. Unfortunately, the food was not good and way overpriced. I don’t think the bartender knew how to make drinks either because ours were just not right. We’re fairly certain one of our friend’s drinks didn’t have any alcohol at all. We thought it was strange too that they refused to split our check. Venmo it is, I guess… We won’t be going back.

You can NOT beat the atmosphere of the outdoor dining at The Charlston!! Such an example of what service should be at a high-end restaurant as well. The food, grilled brie, lobster mac n cheese, and red crab pasta, were absolutely amazing! Their cocktails are also creative and tasty! Love the experience here every single time!!

FANTASTIC!!! BUT, they only had one dessert option the night we went. Not sure if they ran out of supply or what, but I was really looking forward to a dessert and that was a let down. The other food was FABULOUS!!! So still 5 stars, just wish the desserts were there

Marco and the whole team made us feel like a million bucks. They were waiting for us and we were promptly seated. The ambiance and just everything was a "10". The food was amazing. We loved the entire experience. Thanks for an exceptional time.

Had a wonderful dinner on Friday night for my wife’s birthday. The bruschetta was excellent as were both of our Cognac cream filets. Both were perfectly cooked to our liking. The croissant bread pudding was also very tasty to top off dinner. Thanks to our server Vlhanth as well ! He did an excellent job serving us.

We had a great experience. Our server Gabriela was fantastic, the food was delicious, and dining on the patio was perfect with the weather. Loved it!

I took my husband here for his birthday. The woman who sat us was very sweet and started out our experience very positively. Our waiter seemed nice as well asking us if it was our first time, which it was, and if we were celebrating anything. However, my husband ordered a porterhouse steak, the special that day, cooked medium. The steak came out medium well to well done. When we told the waiter he said “Well is it ok?” We were so taken aback that we just kept the steak and finished our meal. I don’t believe any waiter I know or who is good at their job who’s first thought wouldn’t be to make the situation right. While my food was absolutely delicious our whole experience was marred and we definitely have no intention of returning. The outdoor patio is also right on a relatively busy side street so the noise of the cars wasn’t exactly pleasant. Not a huge deal but just added to our annoyance. The two stars is based on my delicious meal otherwise this would have been an easy one star experience.

Great food. Service has always been spotty and this last evening, our anniversary, no server was assigned and we waited 30 minutes before we finally flagged a server who then handled our table. Host/manager seemed unaware. We love this place, but wish they would up their game on service, ie timeliness and at times friendliness.

Absolutely OUTSTANDING. If you want a unique, quaint and intimate family dinner OR you want a romantic evening with your love this is a MUST! The care, thought and passion is noticeable everywhere from the moment you arrive, the table setting, the service, the delicious and meticulously plated food, and my goodness as the sun sets and the lighting is illuminates. Treat yourself, treat others and enjoy this 5 STAR experience! Food: cognac filet - like butter, porterhouse - best we've ever had, scallops - cooked to perfection and the presentation!!!, chefs pasta - full of amazing flavor!
