Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. It was our anniversary. They greeted us by name wishing us happy anniversary. Table had heart decor and a card to us. Our waitress Kathleen was excellent! Came to check on us often as well as executive chef and manager. My Capital cosmo was delicious. We had filet with poached lobster and my husband had the bone in veal chop. They brought us a crème brûlée for dessert. All was wonderful and really delicious! Definitely recommend for special occasions!

My wife and I always arrive earlier than our reservation time and have a cocktail prior to dinner. This is the first Capitol Grill where we were unable to be served. The bar seats were completely full with people drinking and eating. We were forced to literally, hang around and wait for our booth to be available. Shame on us for assuming that we could have had a pre dining cocktail. We were able to order a cocktail once seated but after waiting a good 20 minutes, we had to remind our waiter Alejandro that we were never served. Alejandro spent an inordinate amount of time catering to a booth of 5 diners. Capitol Grills are great but last evenings overall experience was underwhelming.

Staff was fabulous. Recommendations were perfect. Took care of all requests and allowed us to take our time without rushing us. The coconut cream pie was excellent.

Food top quality and consistent with other Capital Grilles. Fresh, delivered to requested temperatures, larger portions. Professional service. Beautiful new restaurant. Good location.

Everything was delicious! BlackBerry Bourbon Sidecar was delicious. Lobster and crab cake was full with chunks of lobster. Ribeye cooked perfect, sushi grade tuna was unbelievably good. Staff was friendly and attentive.

I have eaten at Capital Grille restaurants all over the country. I have had more than 100 meals at different Capital Grilles. The Fort Myers location is not quite ready for prime time. The service was slow and inconsistent (and the restaurant was half empty). My filet mignon was way over salted. 4 different managers walked by our table but not one ever stopped to ask how our meal was. Ironically we were celebrating an anniversary and the table was decorated in recognition of that. The fact that no manager ever stopped by was unforgivable. The waiter was not well trained (worst service I've ever had in 100 visits to different Capital Grille restaurants). Clearly they are still learning. Sad that they never asked how things were going. I always think of them in the same realm as The Ritz Carlton or the Four Seasons. The Fort Myers location is more like Chik-fil-A at this point. I hope they get better. I expect more given what they charge.

The design of the restaurant affords plenty of room between other diners and makes it easy for wait staff to wait tables without interfering with other's experience. The food was excellent and timed in accordance with our appetizers. The shrimp Cocktail was outstanding especially with the extra horse radish provided. The steaks were done to perfection except one was little closer to Medium Rare than Medium but, the flavor was excellent. Desert was Cheese Cake which was a great compliment to the meal. Highly recommend Capital Grill but, bring you check book!!
