    It was not the experience expected. We had reservations however, still had to wait for a table they were “setting up”. The table at which we were seated was ALREADY set as we could see it clearly from the lobby. Most of the food was not good, however our server had it taken off our bill. Our server was very pleasant and personable, however made numerous mistakes in our orders and billing. My group will never go back to that location!!!

    Friendly team and open atmosphere. Not necessarily fine dining but still edgy enough for dress casual as there is zero privacy. Food critics may be harsher as the cuisine lacks a sharp fusion of flavors and is somewhat bland-ish. Kudos to the temp and texture of the scallops which can be difficult to not overcook. Overall, a solid 3-star joint.

    The only thing Needs to be corrected is the Dress code . They say Casual but I saw ppl with Sneakers on . That really lowers the value. I don’t think I’ll come back !!! There way better places if that’s the case !!! INTAGRADERZ MUZIK

    We had a nice brunch. It's wintertime; so the views of the James were pretty drab, but that's just the season. They have a very nice view. Service was good and professional. Local oysters were excellent and well shucked. I had the crabcakes benedict which was good. My critique on this dish though is that the poached eggs were a bit past runny, and the home fries weren't worth eating. Not hot and tasted like cardboard. Too many restaurants serve a version of fried potatoes with brunch that they don't pay any attention too. They deep fry a bunch of potatoes in the morning, toss them with some peppers and then let them sit there for hours. They would be better off buying a frozen hash brown and frying them to order. At least they would be hot and crispy. These were just landfill.

    Exceptional service and excellent food. This was our first time at the boathouse and we will definitely be back again.

    We loved the whole experience. We were pushed for time but our waiter made it happen. Thanks Don. Can't wait to go back and have extra time

    Booked for our anniversary. Walking in it looked like the perfect place you’d have to make a reservation for. As soon as we walked into dining room, it reminded me of an old Perkins or ihop. Tacky color booths, loud music, just an atmosphere of a diner experience. We were handed bottled water, which was fine but the bottles were so beat up and wouldn’t even stand up. Food was sub-par for the price. Service left a lot to be desired. Won’t be returning to this location.
