    My husband and I hadn’t been to the Blennerhassett Hotel for several years and were very pleasantly surprised when we were unexpectedly in Parkersburg and had dinner there. We started our meal with bacon wrapped dates and spinach salad with bacon dressing made in house. My filet was delicious and his sea bass was perfectly prepared. Our meal was topped off with in house made praline desert with butter pecan ice cream. The server was attentive and friendly. Great experience. We equated it to Laury’s (in Charleston). Worth the 1.5 hour drive.

    Made a reservation for semi private. Our table was in the middle of a room with 3 other tables full of people around us. We received appetizer and drinks quickly. However food came out almost an hour after it was ordered, and not cooked how was requested and it was barely room temperature . We hardly seen our server. We paid for the drinks and appetizer that we did receive and did not pay for the main meal.

    Excellent service and food. My only concern was the value for money spent (even with the very beautiful atmosphere).

    The cocktails were not good. The quality of food wasn’t worth the price. The atmosphere was nice. The wait staff were very attentive.

    My husband and I went out to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. The service was very slow and the food was even worse. We both ordered the special, a Delmonico ribeye steak. My husband ordered his steak medium and came out rare/medium rare. Our server never came back and checked on us or to check how our food was. Finally he came back and we told him our steaks weren’t cooked right and asked to speak to the manager. The manager came over and agreed that the steaks weren’t cooked right and said sorry and walked away. We paid full price for something that wasn’t cooked right or edible with no offer to remake or discount our food. Very disappointing night for a special occasion. We will never be back.

    Absolutely the BEST dinner and service I've received in the past 25 years. From the mixed salad to the airplane chicken and beyond, the reasonably priced meal was OUTSTANDING! My guests were very pleased as well. Looking forward to entertaining more friends next weekend.

    We had the best waitress and Martha was so sweet. Loved everything about our brunch. The piano player, the food the ambiance of this beautiful hotel are unbeatable.

    I had the Black truffle twin filet. It was the best meal I have ever eaten. The steak was cooked to perfection! The Caesar salad was one of the best I have had.The staff was very friendly.

    As we told our wait staffer, Kyle, the benchmark of excellent service is anticipation of the customers’ needs. We had superb service from Kyle and his colleagues. I called in advance to see if they had our favorite celebratory wine; they did not. But by the time we arrived, they’d found and had on ice not just one but two — just in case — bottles. Altogether a delightful evening.
