                                                    Our third time here and every experience has been great. Food is awesome, drinks are interesting, vibe is super friendly and chill, service is outstanding. Just a great place to have a lovely evening.

                                                    Been here a few times now. Great food and service. And a quaint atmosphere. The menu is somewhat limited and changes seasonally but I always find something tasty to eat. They also have excellent cocktails and other drinks. I've never been into oysters but my sister got me to try some here and oh boy I was happy I did. Their mignonette (?) sauce and cocktail sauce were awesome and really sold me on oysters in general. My only "complaint" is no dessert menu! But I guess they don't get a lot of requests for dessert and it probably doesn't make sense for them from an economic standpoint. All in all highly recommended dining experience and reasonable prices especially considering the high quality of their dining fare and drink.

                                                    Karl, the bartender, was superb. He was helpful in explaining "Whiskey Tuesday" and all the options for drinks and dinner. And his Old Fashioned was great. Will be back soon.

                                                    Always good food. Summer menu smaller but always hoping the warm shrimp salad is on the current menu. Disappointed it was on the website menu but not on the actual menu :( Maybe next time?…..

                                                    This is a very small, quaint, and cozy restaurant with nice decor and seating inside, as well as an option for outdoor seating. The service was good, despite the absence of other diners. Although it is marketed as an English pub, The Black Squirrel doesn’t offer much in the way of English or British cuisine, aside from a few curry items. The fish and chips dish was priced at $27, which seemed excessively high. While the chips (fries) were tasty, they weren't prepared in a traditional English style. I was disappointed that only tea bags were provided instead of a variety tea box or tea served in a teapot, which would have been a nice touch. The menu is small with limited choices, and brunch is only available on Sundays, which likely explains the lack of brunch diners. Overall, the food was okay and the staff were friendly. I visited a couple of years ago and had a better dining experience then. I would recommend adding more English beers and traditional British dishes to better align with the advertised cuisine theme.

                                                    We come here almost weekly for the Green Green Greens salad and usually the burger. Everyone is so nice and all their food is insane.

                                                    We enjoyed our meal but the restaurant seemed unable to cope with our party of 10, even at the very start of the Sunday evening rush. Cocktails and beer were slow to arrive and starters appeared almost simultaneously with entrees. In one case, the starter arrived after many of us had finished eating. I am grateful that our server removed that from the bill. It simply felt like the restaurant needed to be better staffed. We might return but certainly will keep our expectations lower if that happens, so that we are not disappointed.
