Chef Annie’s love for cooking started when she moved to the United States in 2012. She thinks about food all day; what it looks like, what it tastes like, and most of all, how it makes people feel connected and content. For Annie, cooking is a passion, a legacy, and a bridge. Cooking is a way for her to feel joy honoring her mother and her first home by serving the people in her new community. That is why Annie and her husband Ryan, a Rochester native, created ThaiPop. It is a labor of love to bring two homes and two worlds together in one place, to honor all who came before by serving all who gather today and tomorrow.

This uber cute restaurant is always lively and fun, staff is so warm and friendly and the food is interesting and very tasty! Both cocktails and mocktails are perfectly balanced and creative as well. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in Rochester.

Love the starters and drink options. We had the Thai iced tea and 6 starters for our meal. Should have ordered less, but very good food and service.

We really appreciated the flexibility to add another seat for an important member of our party last minute. Great food and ambiance! Would recommend for small group gatherings.

We always enjoy our meals there. We tried the "beef jerky" appetizer which was wonderful! The beef was cooked just right with wonderful spices and the hot dipping sauce turned up the heat well.

We had a fantastic visit. It was everything we were told it would be. Service, food, drink all were phenomenal.

Was a good dinner, but nothing we found outstanding. We were surprised there was so much rice on the menu vs noodles, but we asked for noodles to be subbed in once of the items and they did that for us. We did not try the drinks, because we were going out for drinks afterwards. The plants/greenery was very beautiful.

Had an awesome experience in every way. We had made a reservation and the day of it was beautiful weather so they called to ask if we wanted to enjoy outside seating or inside. Appreciated this extra gesture to do ahead of time. Our waitress was super friendly and also helpful with suggestion dishes and cocktails. Food came out quick and was not only gorgeous to look at but also SO fresh and delicious. Fresh herbs abound. The cocktails were also delicious. This is definitely our new very favorite place and will drive 1.5 hours again just for this yummy experience. Thank you Thai pop. You guys are awesome. We enjoyed everything!
