The four of us had the weekly dinner special which was beautiful Ribeye steaks with frites. Well marbled and seasoned beef. Perfectly medium rare. Two of us subbed frites for grilled asparagus. Our server Sky was there every time we needed something and she even anticipated what we needed before we asked. We closed the place down and will be back soon for a seafood special.

The food was amazing! We had the Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer and it was delicious. We had the peppercorn crusted fillet and it was out of this world! Chef David is a masterful chef.

The event was a "home cooking" buffet......astonishingly, they ran out of several entrees~~Specifically, the mashed potatoes, fried okra and fried catfish. Our reservation was for 6pm and the event ran until 8pm. When we approached the manager requesting a replacement pan of mashed potatoes, we were told they "were out of mashed potatoes". Same with the other entrees I mentioned. Our group found it bizarre that a dinner staple such as mashed potatoes could have run out when there were ample pork chops, fried chicken & gravy available..... We are residents of Kissing Tree, and the consensus was that we'd return for a sandwich or burger after golf, but we're unlikely to return for dinner as this wasn't the first time we'd left after a disappointing experience.

Very much enjoyed the Country Buffet at Tarbox & Brown this evening! Baked pork-chop was amazing as well as the brown sauce it was baked in. Mashed Taters were very good as well as the Mac & Cheese, the green beens with stewed tomatoes and something else (I forgot) also on menu was fried catfish, fried chicken, fried ochre, broccoli salad, potatoe salad and fresh cut melon. As well as a Texas Pecan & Chocolate sheet cake. Color me impressed and all for $24.95 Thank you T&B

Great food and service! There to celebrate my wife’s birthday with our daughter and grand kids. It was a special comfort food buffet with fried chicken, fried catfish, pork chops, Mac and cheese, mash potatoes and green beans. So good! They brought my wife a complimentary birthday day dessert. Great service too!

Tarbox and Brown never disappoints. Yesterday we had the crab cake special. Delicious!!! Logan was our server and he took great care of our large table (12 people) on the patio late on a Friday night. He was very polite and the food was served promptly and professionally. Delicious food and great service! Please consider giving them a try if you haven’t already. Thank

Our server Maria gave us excellent service. The filet special was tender and flavorful as well as the loaded mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. Crabcake special was just the right amount of spicy. No dessert this time but in the past there’s been a good variety to choose from. We will be back soon!

The brunch buffet was very disappointing and not a great value for the price. We would have liked to have the food on the main menu. The young man working the omelet station did a wonderful job interacting with my son. The iced tea was excellent.

It was way too hot, so we were uncomfortable the entire time we were there. Service was wonderful and the food was delicious. Looking forward to our next visit.

Food was great and it’s a great atmosphere. Our server was new and piled salads on appetizers on dinner and the quickly gave us the check. We felt rushed, which is not usually the case, but it was disappointing since the food was delicious.
