TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge offers a distinctive culinary experience in the most dramatic setting Mohegan Sun has to offer. Guests can choose from a selection of Asian-inspired specialties, focusing on Chinese, Japanese and Thai techniques and ingredients; including signature dishes like the Satay of Chilean Sea Bass, Lobster Wontons, Peking Duck, Crispy Snapper in “Sand,” and Tuna Sashimi Pringle. TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge’s beverage program pairs perfectly with approachable craft cocktails and extensive sake offerings. The new restaurant at Mohegan Sun is located off the Sky Tower Hotel Lobby and features several notable elements that Guests have come to expect from the iconic brand, including a 16-foot-tall Quan Yin statue anchoring the main dining room.

OUTSTANDING! 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ the decor , ambience, service all top notch ! The food was fresh , delicious and visually appealing ! The dragon tail spare ribs fell off the bone and the Hong Kong noodles were vibrant! Carrot cake was moist , sweet and delicious and the presentation was whimsical and fun! Crème brûlée was lovely ! Finished with some hot black tea in a beautiful cast iron tea pot! Our server Ashely was on point. Can’t wait to go back !

Apps were delicious. Sea bass & edamame. Entrees were unbelievable, Brazino, salmon, sushi and Pad Thai were delicious. Everyone was extremely happy. Dessert platter was delicious and fun to eat. 5 stars.

Exceeded expectations as we have been to Tao's other locations - food we ordered, miso cod, orange chicken, chow mein, cauliflower and Chinese broccoli sides were absolutely delicious. Service was very good. Noise level definitely high but great music.

We came to town to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. And it absolutely did not disappoint. The food was amazing. The ambience was spectacular and our server. Tiffany was amazing, very attentive to all of us at the table, including the ones who had food allergies. Made us all feel very comfortable with the food that was served to us.

We shared an excellent meal of chicken satay, crispy orange chicken accompanied by three pork fried rice. We finished our meal with the decadent mousse-filled giant fortune cookie for dessert! The food was indescribably delicious. We can’t wait to return to TAO!

Nice decor but a bit loud. Food was nothing special - was expecting to be blown away, but left disappointed. Would not rush to go back.

Great food, but not revolutionary. Beautiful environment, and very good service. Prices are very high (too high); a lot of hype, IMO.
