TAO Asian Bistro - Las Vegas
Corporate Executive Chef Ralph Scamardella has developed a menu for the 400-seat restaurant by incorporating culinary components from China, Japan and Thailand. Signature dishes include offerings from sea, sky and land including Chilean Sea Bass Satay with Wok Roasted Asparagus, a preparation of Peking Duck that consistently receives accolades, and Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu along with a full sushi bar.
Favorite restaurant and didn't dissapoint again. Only issue we had was that dessert took a long time (they warned us) but after 30 min we gave up and asked to have it taken off the bill. Not only did they buy us a round of drinks but also rushed the dessert off AND took it off the bill. Amazing service all around and they exceeded expectation again.
In the oast we have loved the sea bass. It was good. However the vegetables and fish were not hot but lukewarm. The shrimp fried rice was tasteless and more like risotto. Quality of the wine was excellent.
The quality of the food was not up to par.
It was my husbands 50th birthday and they surprised us with their most popular dessert- the giant fortune cookie, which was delicious! Along with the rest of our dinner, everything was tasty!!
Always love the food and service here. The fortune cookie dessert is amazing and our favorite dish next to the shrimp toast. But please bring back the dumpling soup!
amazing presentation, excellent service. great menu
Great food and great atmosphere! Always enjoy TAO when in Vegas. Unfortunately the service was not very good. Although she was friendly our server seemed overwhelmed. Long initial wait when we were seated before she came to the table. Had to be reminded about things several times. They did bring a complimentary X large fortune cookie one side stuffed with a white mousse and other chocolate for my friend since it was her bday!
Amazing!! Food is delicious!
Excellent, Electric, Fun, Great Food
Lovely restaurant loved the vibe and ambience food drinks all on point. Service was excellent loved our server really helpful and a wonderful personality sorry did not get her name. Nothing we didn't like would definitely visit again when in Las Vegas.
Fabulous food. Flawless experience...
Poor quality food and overly salted. Weak cocktails. Beautiful restaurant though.
This place never disappoints. If you like seafood get the shrimp scallops lobster with bean sauce, pair it with the Chinese sausage and shrimp fried rice with a fried egg on top. Enough for two! The service is always great everyone there seems to really enjoy where they work
Our daughter and son-in-law love the restaurant and dine there every time they are Las Vegas. They recommended it highly and this was our first visit. We thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful meal and the great service.
Anniversary dinner -TJ was great!
Truly unique and delicious expereince
It was like a factory. Too many people all over waiting for tables. Reservations for 8:00pm but not seated until 8:35. Rushed dinner to make show. Requested no added salt on dinner but extremely salty. Nobody really listening. The place is beautiful, the waitress was good but so many other places to go to enjoy a meal in Las Vegas. I would avoid Tao.
Over a 30 minute wait despite reservation. Given drinks at the bar however it took the bartender over 15 minutes to wait on us. My date's food came over 15 minutes before mine did. Waiter rarely came to check on us, but did give us a free dessert for the delay (without prompting). The food was all very good, if overpriced for the small portion -- expected on the strip. Restaurant is crazy loud. Really cool interior. Bathrooms are staffed, which felt like a nightclub more than a restaurant. Bottom line is that there are simply too many other better options in Vegas.
We had a reservation for 8:00pm. When we checked in we were told it would be about 20 minutes until our table was ready. We did not get sat until 9:15. Luckily the gentleman at the host stand did the hospitable thing and bought us a round of drinks while we waited and then took care of a lot of the bill which was the appropriate thing to do as we had had a very long day and were super hungry. Would I go back?.....mmmm maybe but it would be because he knew how to handle the situation. It also was extremely loud and hard to have a conversation without having to really raise your voice. Beautiful inside and food was good.
Amazing restaurant with great food, excellent service & fab decor!! Worth every penny!!!
Great service and great food.
Staff was very accommodating. Corkage fee a bit excessive & $50
We have been to Tao numerous times and always enjoy the food. We did again. The Chilean Sea Bass is top-notch! Order sushi All the time as an appetizer. We were disappointed with the Ahi tuna and mushrooms. It was a blander flavor, earthly; yet interesting. We were just hoping for more spice. Never complain about the staff - they were wonderfully attentive and conversant. We always dine at Tao when in Vegas, and we always will!
Nice place to eat in Vegas
Our favourite dinner in Vegas! Would 100% come again. Food was amazing and the cocktails were great. Our waiter was excellent and gave good recommendations. Can’t wait to come back! Please open one in London!!
The food the service was on point!
Food was mediocre. I had their signature Chilean Sea Bass and it was luke warm and over cooked. The triple pork fried rice was old and stale. Drinks were watered down. Very disappointing definitely not worth the $250 spent.
Wow can't wait to go back we will always dine here on future visits. Asian food done well. Service was awesome
Chairs are comfortable
This restaurant in The Venetian Hotel has absolutely stunning decor. The food was outstanding - everything from our appetizers to side dishes to main courses were delicious and perfectly seasoned. The people watching was great fun!
Great evening with friends celebrating a birthday. Nice advice from the waiter to go with a sharing platter and listened to our requirements 👍🏼
Service was on point, pre bussing tables etc. appetizers were delicious, dinner was great. We celebrated a birthday and the dessert was awesome. Great drink menu!
Tao is our favorite Vegas dinner “must do”. As always, it did not disappoint. Sea Bass is to die for. All our selections, including drinks. were outstanding. Service was excellent. We will be back.
Excellent dinner experience! Minus the snobby hostess our experience was fantastic! Our waiter was super friendly and attentive and rest of the staff waiting on us were just the same. The sushi was fresh and delicious. All dishes and cocktails were amazing as well! I would highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere is exotic and unique. A great place for a group or romantic dinner. Loved it!
Always a great experience
Magnificent... all around... I come everytime I visit.
The atmosphere and staff made you feel at home and relaxed. Knowledgeable about each dish and what parings were best.
Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. 5 stars
Portions are hit and miss these days but overall still a great meal and Vegas experience.
5 star everything!
