The best service and drinks in Tulum! I highly recommend it.
The music is so loud you can’t hear yourself and the service inclusive of check in was a horrible experience. To add insult to injury we were racially profiled upon exiting the restaurant accused of steal a wallet which turned up anyways. Horrible first impression

This place was beautiful but pricey. I understand it was suppose to be “Luxurious”, “Bohemian” and “Bali” inspired but even Bali isn’t this expensive. In my opinion, they’d have way more business if they brought their prices to a modest range but I guess being “high end” you have money to throw away. Again, beautiful but not worth the price.
Wife’s birthday
Our server tried to hustle us for a 30% tip, be aware. I left 15% in cash and he said it went straight to the house and I had to tip on top of that.
I would have given this beach club a better review ... however...
We were made to feel like criminals when we left a 10% tip and not a 25% tip. It’s already very expensive which we didn’t really mind as its a beach club... the food was excellent and the service is very good - but you would expect that when paying these prices, I don't expect to have a further quarter of the price added to the bill for the privilege.
The music is Loud no matter where you sit, and the music is a very eclectic mix... so if your expecting chilled /Ibiza / happy house beach vibes ... this isn’t for you.

La atención de Rafael y Miguel Ángel fue de 100 o sea excelente nos hicieron sentir súper bien! Ahora bien fuimos un martes y la música se comparte con taboo y demasiado hip hop, ademas lo peor fue que el espectáculo del violín lo hicieron sólo del lado de taboo, porque en tantra no había mucha gente eso fue fatal, pedí una botella y no pude ver nada solo escuchar hip hop, hasta las azafatas tenían cara de pereza y aburridas si estoy de vacaciones y voy un martes no entiendo cual es el problema debe ser igual un día que otro. Excepto por los camareros que dije la experiencia no fue nada buena para lo que pagamos.

El lugar es hermoso, el servicio es excelente y la comida deliciosa, pero la música parece de antro para springbreakers del año 2000, super oldie, eran pocas veces que se veia a la gente realmente ambientada por la música. A diferencia de otros lugares en tulum aqui la música si es mas estilo antro pero necesitan modernizar a su dj urgentemente.

This place was so fun! My cousin and I went to the beach club in the afternoon. It’s a bit expensive, but worth it. We’ve been in Mexico for 3 days and the strongest drinks we had were there and we were staying at a resort. The vibes of the place was energetic, everybody was mingling and enjoying the music. We met quite a few friendly people who invited us over to their private cabanas which basically means we paid for our own beach bed for no reason lol. Everyone was just there to have a good time. Oh the music genre is more electronic, but it fits the vibe. A couple of times two musicians performed on the violin and saxophone to the music track and pretty girls were following them so that was cool. After meeting new people and a few drinks we decided to have dinner there as well. Unfortunately I don’t remember what I had, but it was most likely seafood and delicious! Tantra is definitely one of the spots I would return to when visiting Tulum!
The food and drinks were delicious. Great restaurant if your looking to party a little and even if your looking for a nice dinner out. Carlos R. was an amazing waiter showed us a good time, and took us on a tour of the place after we finished our meal.
Tantra feels like what you would expect from a made for tourists beach club. Best part was the music to be honest. They had a sax player and violinist going around the pool playing awesome jams. One thing that’s rather annoying is there are several sketchy guys that ask you everytime you walk by if you want coke. Not the beverage. There was a dude in the bathroom hustling harder then them so i would just be aware, it’s a super tourist trap. The servers are cool, vibe was nice.

If we were not on a pandemic, Tantra would’ve been a great choice, put none of the staff or the customers (but only our table and another one) were using facemasks, they were not guarding their distance and acted like COVID disn’t exist. We had to have lunch there and run away because we were actually scared. We didn’t enjoy it at all.
Food is actually really good, that was the only thing worth it.
Our Preventative measures are and not limited to: A cleaning professional team sanitizing all areas 24 hours a day. Sanitization of tables and chairs before and after every service. We perform thermal temperature scans remotely. We have sanitizing mats at customers' and employees' access. All work surfaces are sanitized every half hour. Service and kitchen staff wash their hands every 15 minutes. Constant ventilation of interior areas and daily sanitization of air conditioning filters.
Best and most assertive service I've had in a long time! Worth every cent paid!

Unfortunately this caters to a lot of Jr's and wannabes. The preponderance of people who enter pretend to be rich, beautiful and overly cool. There is nothing cool about the place and if you really need to "belong" to the pretend set you pay accordingly. You pay to enter, you pay to get further to the beach, with lots of rope areas. It reminds me of a poor copy of Nicky Beach (which I like), everyone is just trying to hard to be what they are not
Not recommended at all. If you can stomach the place with overly loud music, the. food is good. Though everything is significantly overpriced.
Good ambience but waiting an hour to get to our table and then another hour for a drink. We were given shots as an apology but it’s disappointing to spend a final night in Tulum like this when paying significant amounts of money.
