SUGARCANE raw bar grill is a brasserie-style restaurant and raw bar serving sushi, open fire-grilled fare, small plates and more. Inviting guests to “kick back, eat well and stay awhile,” we are on a quest to celebrate the simple pleasures in life – eating well and celebrating with friends.

In 2016, SUGARCANE raw bar grill opened on Restaurant Row at the Venetian® Las Vegas. The restaurant was quickly recognized by top culinary outlets: Eater called it “the most anticipated arrival of the year” and named it one of the “15 hottest restaurants in Las Vegas."

The drink selection was the best I’ve ever seen, hands down, there were SO many options it took us 20 mins to decide, they all sounded great, and they tasted even better! The presentation of the drinks with the dry ice was SO cool. Overall it was an incredible experience.

                                                                                                              The first but was amazing. The longer the dishes sit, the salter it gets. At the end, we couldn’t finish any dishes because it’s like eating a spoonful of salt.

                                                                                                              Unfortunately the food feel short. The best thing on the plate was the dipping aoli for the “ Mashed potato’s” ( which weren’t mashed BTW ) The octopus was so chewy that both my husband and I had to spit it out. I know it’s Vegas and everything is pretty expensive but the portions were so tiny, and not great at all! Our server was pleasant but not overly friendly. Overall very disappointed.

                                                                                                              Last day in Vegas, wanted brunch before we left. I had made a 10:30 Friday morning reservation. When we arrived the place was already full. Thank goodness I had made advanced reservations. We were seated, given a menu to peruse. We expected a server to come over and take cocktail orders, instead we waited and waited as a server kept whizzing by us pretending not to see us. Finally, after I was going to get up and talk to the manager, I was able to stop our "server", Raymond to see if we could get some help. He was a bit rude as he told us "I will be with you in a minute", with an attitude. We ordered the Bottomless Mimosas, Crispy Beef Empanadas, Eggs Rancheros and the Cuban Pork Sandwich. When the food came out all looking good and hot. The taste was OK, very bland, wasn't a wow. The best part were the Mimosas. Atmosphere: big and open. Service: OK. Food: OK.

                                                                                                              Nice restaurant but it took too long to get my 1st dish. Foods are great but a little overpriced. Oh, well, everything is overpriced in LV especially after COVID.

                                                                                                              Dined with a few colleagues family style so had several dishes including the duck fried rice, short ribs, brussel sprouts, wedge and Caesar salads. Everything was great. Service left a bit to be desired, just had to ask for refills multiple times and a bit slower than expected, particularly given it didn’t appear super busy. Not enough of an issue that I wouldn’t recommend or wouldn’t return though.
