Sortino's Italian Kitchen is a new age red sauce restaurant where old-school Italian cuisine meets the modern age. Sortino’s Italian Kitchen is a casual restaurant and bar that brings the Kalahari a tradition of hospitality established by Giorgio and Giacomo Sortino more than 60 years ago when they opened the original Sortino’s Little Italy restaurant in downtown Sandusky, Ohio.

Had the salmon and it was ok. It’s was put right on the salad which made the salad very soggy Had the meatball as an appetizer which was pretty good. . Cheesy garlic bread app was about 4 inches thick. Just very doughy and not much flavor. Service was pretty good

Excellent food, wait staff were friendly and attentive. Prices are high, entree service was a little slow. Overall would recommend.

Our server, Logan, was awesome. We found hair in the Alfredo, and Hair in the salad. We did not finish our food. We did not ask to comp it, or replace it. The hair was a turn off.

Very good food! Excellent break from the greasy food in the water park all day. Food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend. Bellissimo

Most of food was poorly cooked. Risotto was floating in a liquid. Fettuccine Alfredo so runny I had a salad. Asked for no dressing but was swimming in it. Kids meals were ok I had called numerous times to request we be seated together I was repeatedly told to wait and call closer to dinner. Called day before and was assured our family would be seated together (we were celebrating 10 year old twins birthday) We were not able to sit together. There were at least three other parties in restaurant where multiple tables were punched together to accommodate a group. Refused to help us So I can not recommend this place. Our server was a lovely young person who tried her hardest but between awful food and having to commute to another table to see my grandkids it was not a good experience

We had dinner for our entire visiting family of 11 people. The service was amazing. The people were friendly and our server was great. If you’re coming to the Kalahari Water Park in Sandusky Ohio you should really think about having dinner at Sortino’s.

I made a reservation here on Christmas Eve because I wasn’t sure if there would be other options to eat while in the area working. I’ve never been to a Kalahari before & wasn’t prepared for the crowds & energy. The restaurant was pretty relaxed early in the evening, & the food was pretty good. I ordered the meatball appetizer & green beans, which was a huge portion…food was good & I’ll be eating leftovers for a few days.
