Incredibly underwhelming. It would have been an okay experience if my one plate didn’t cost me $30 and not impress me. The food is more than edible, just a horrible value. My stew had no meat in it, and that made me sad. The waiter was always in the kitchen and I could hear the chef swearing like a sailor. The other table had to wait so long for their bill they went up to the check-in lady to get the waiter. And there were only two tables sat for the night. If you are staying at the resort, the location is convenient. But my second night I cancelled my reservation and drove 20 minutes in the snow and dark to get anything else.

GREAT spot in an unexpected location. Bonus: Great cocktails and music... and the food was delicious. It's cozy so we made friends with all the other diners.

Sorensen's used to have a sweet and spicy chicken sandwich that was so much better than the pesto chicken sandwich they have now. We would send our customers here for the spicy chicken sandwich and would always hear they enjoyed it as well. It is a shame to change a sandwich that was so good. The atmosphere is good. Not sure we will return if the spicy chicken sandwich is no longer on the menu. Please bring it back!

Delicious, creative, well-prepared food. Pleasant and considerate service, though staff occasionally over-worked and behind at times. Very pleasant place to eating ideas and outside.

Tis was our 1st visit to Sorensen's Cafe and we enjoyed the location and the food. We sat outside and enjoyed live music being played by Just Josh. We would consider a return visit to the Cafe in the future.

We were seated quickly and water was provided immediately. Our server was friendly but a bit stressed as they were the only one. Later, a second server arrived and our server immediately became more relaxed and more pleasant. Cocktails were very good and the food as well with the only suggestion is to season the potato salad more as it was bland and nearly tasteless. Dessert was great and extra ice cream added as requested. We never felt rushed or ignored and our server earned a 30% tip. Table was clean as were the menus, silver and glassware. Outdoor dining was excellent with no flying insects. Although cloth napkins were on the table, extra paper should be as well so we wouldn't need to ask. The grounds are beautiful and restrooms clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal experience.

Our food was fresh and delicious. The menu is very limited so I recommend taking a look before you go. The choices worked for us, and the wine list was good. My hamburger was simply amazing, and my husband really enjoyed the hearty stew. The ambience of this small and quiet country restaurant in the Sierras is perfect. Our server was very friendly, helpful and efficient. What more can I say? It was a very positive experience and I highly recommend.

What a great experience. Outdoor dinning. Unique Venison Stroganoff, best ever, very tender tasty venison. Drinks were great. Service was excellent as well. Nest time in area will dine there again. .
