Soak in the views whilst you dine at Sophie’s rooftop restaurant, complete with amazing panoramic views of Galway City, whatever the weather.
Blazing sun, howling gales, she’s just beautiful. And fun. And friendly. And tasty.

Our chefs pack every mouthful with international and Irish flavours. We’ve also got a range of cocktails so good you’ll wanna work your way through the entire menu.
We serve breakfast and dinner 7 days a week. We do lunch on weekdays and brunch at the weekend.

El aire acondicionado estaba muy fuerte. Hacia mucho frio. La atencion mala. Tardaron muchisimo en traer tanto la entrada como el plato principal. Trajeron un plato principal primero y frio , y el del Otro comensal , despues. Caro y mala atencion.

Went here for Sunday brunch. It was surprisingly quiet. Maybe people just don't know that it offers lunch at the weekend. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The food we ordered (full Irish, and chicken burger) was excellent. A relaxed atmosphere with nice views. I'd recommend it for weekend brunches , and will go there again on my next visit to Galway.

Beautiful setting. The decor is fantastic! Food was delicious. All 5 of our party thoroughly enjoyed the food. Service was great also. Staff friendly, helpful and attentive. Food is pricey but worth it. Portions seemed small, but were beautifully presented and were definitely filling. I got the chicken which was perfectly cooked.

I was greeted by Susannah on arrival with an incredibly gracious warm welcome. The views are beautiful and the sky during this time of year is especially lovely to watch with the kaleidoscope of colours! Both my starter and main were delicious!Susannah’s service was excellent and nothing was too big of an ask. I hadn’t been to Sophie’s in a few weeks a she made a point of genuinely welcoming me back and it’s service like this that one really appreciates. It means a lot. Thank you Susannah! 5 plus 🌟 stars!✨

Food took over an hour and it was just two meals. One of them being a pizza and it wasn’t crowded at all so it shouldn’t have been so long

Lovely setting and great variety to choose from on the menu. The pizza, seafood linguine and the croquettes with side salad were all delicious and the puddings even better : )

I had the steak would not recommend it to anyone my mouth is sill sore from chewing but my wife had a lovely meal

We had a fabulous evening celebrating my husbands birthday. Food was amazing and our waiter helped with the choices by giving his recommendations. Towards the end of our meal it became very busy and our waiter made a small mistake and didn't put through one dessert. The staff did notice my husband wasn't eating his and came to ask if everything was ok, they rectified the error promptly. Our waiter apologised and even tried to refuse our tip as 'he didn't deserve it' (his words) but we left it for him anyway. Mistakes happen and it didn't change the good time we had. Fabulous place with amazing food.
